    Abstract: A retractable automobile shade device having a pair of sun shade panels for covering the front and rear of the vehicle which retract within a rectangular housing. The housing is mounted on the roof of the vehicle via special clamps which attach to the luggage rack or the rain gutters. Each shade panel has a pull handle located on the end for manual deployment. An optional privacy screen that surrounds and encloses the vehicle adds further protection.
