Patent number: 9281146Abstract: The present invention concerns a hydrophone signal limiting shunt switch, electrically associated and physically conjoined with a conventional hydrophone, for limiting hydrophone signal operability to water depths less than a predetermined, proscribed depth. The primary components of the shunt switch are a protected plunging bolt, at least one disk spring and an electrically conducting foot, none of which are ever in direct contact with the ocean environment. Flexure of the disk spring is the sole determinant of switch actuation. Upon sensing a predetermined, proscribed operating depth, the protected plunging bolt forces the electrically conducting foot to shunt the electrical connection between the associated hydrophone and the hydrophone transmission cable, consequently, quenching the hydrophone signal at the proscribed depth.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2012Date of Patent: March 8, 2016Assignee: High Tech, Inc.Inventors: Brian Stephen Spychalski, Scott Arthur Erickson

Publication number: 20050229919Abstract: A food item is cooked in a cooking device and transferred to a heated holding table by two exit conveyors. The food item then falls onto one of two transfer conveyors that move perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the exit conveyors. The food items travel on the transfer conveyors and then fall onto a main conveyor. The main conveyor moves in a direction that is parallel to the direction of movement of the exit conveyors. If the food item has not been manually removed from the main conveyor after a predetermined amount of time, the food item falls off the main conveyor and into a drawer waste chute for disposal.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 11, 2005Publication date: October 20, 2005Inventors: Jeffrey Sands, Ronald Glavan, Curtis Scadden, Ronald Dorsten, Arthur Erickson, Craig Conley

Patent number: 6631733Abstract: A fluid line connector assembly includes a first part defining a fluid channel; and a second part including an outer body and a member mounted for adjusting movement relative to the outer body in a direction normal to an axis of engagement in response to relative motion of the first part and the second part when the first part and the second part are connected, the member defining a fluid channel within the body. The first and second parts together define the axis of engagement along which the first and second parts are releasably connectable, the fluid channel of the first part being adapted to connect to the fluid channel of the second part, and, when the first and second parts are connected, the fluid channel of the second part remains in fluid flow connection with the fluid channel of the first part during adjusting movement of the member relative to the outer body of the second part.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2001Date of Patent: October 14, 2003Assignee: Woods Equipment CompanyInventors: Lee A. Patent number: 6619319Abstract: A non-spill, multi-line fluid connector includes a first part and a second part removably connected to the first part. Each of the first and second parts includes a plurality of fluid channels, each of which connects to a corresponding fluid channel of the other part without fluid spillage. The fluid channels in each part can be arranged concentrically, which enables the parts to be rotated relative to each other while maintaining the fluid connections. One part can be incorporated into a latch pin of a tool coupler, and the other part can be incorporated into a latch bracket attached to a hydraulically operated tool, wherein the latch bracket receives the latch pin to lock the tool to the tool coupler and to establish one or more hydraulic connections to the hydraulic tool. A locking assembly secures together the first part and the second part when fluid pressure is applied.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2000Date of Patent: September 16, 2003Assignee: Woods Equipment CompanyInventors: Lee A. Patent number: 5634735Abstract: A coupling apparatus for releasably securing a tool to the linkage of a tractor such as a backhoe. The coupling apparatus includes a second coupling element which is fixed to the lower end of the linkage and a first coupling element which is fixed to the upper end of the tool. One of the coupling elements has a generally upwardly facing first engaging surface for engaging a downwardly facing first engaging surface of the other coupling element which provides the main coupling connection between the first and second coupling elements. Each of the first and second coupling elements has a second engaging surface which is spaced from the first engaging surface. When the first and second coupling elements are brought together in a coupling mode, the second engaging surfaces engage and provide a fulcrum about which the linkage pivots relative to the tool.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 1995Date of Patent: June 3, 1997Assignee: Wain-Roy, Inc.Inventors: Lee A.
