    Abstract: Means, in the form of traction strips for attachment to eyeglasses at the inner surface of the nose bridge and/or to the inner surfaces of temple members which are easily applied and removed and which provide frictional engagement, said strips comprising porous members impregnated or coated on one side with a pressure sensitive adhesive for adherence to such inner surfaces and in which said adhesive tends to penetrate said strips influenced by body heat. Said strips are preferably provided with spaced ribs extending transversely to the direction of slippage. The strips are individually provided with detachable tabs to facilitate easy and sanitary attachment of individual strips. The traction strips with their tabs may be mounted in multiple on a backing.
