    Abstract: Methods and systems for estimating volumes of agricultural crops are provided. A geographic position sensor provides positions of a harvesting machine as it gathers an agricultural crop and places the crop on the ground in a windrow. A speed of the harvesting machine is determined using the geographic position sensor. Signals are received from a sensor system disposed at a bottom of the harvesting machine. The signals are indicative of profiles of segments of the windrow on the ground. Cross-sectional areas of the windrow are estimated using the signals. Volumes of the agricultural crop are estimated using the speed of the harvesting machine and the estimated cross-sectional areas of the windrow.

Rather than explicitly enumerate all possible combinations, the sparse tree data structure enables implicit enumeration of those combinations to determine combinations of highest relevancy. In one embodiment, the sparse tree implements a specific algorithm within the “branch-and-bound” algorithmic paradigm to reduce the time and computational resources required to response to a query.

A small overlay having information may be easily placed on the top of the keyboard to assist in learning songs by number, color, or other visual aids.

Liquid is only drawn from the wick by osmosis when the soil is dry. Even as the water level in the reservoir drops, the water level across the wick continues to remain level until the reservoir is nearly empty, allowing the soil constant access to water until the reservoir needs refilling. Several embodiments are included. All contains these features, but some contain addition features as well as different proportions. The uses of the different embodiments are also described.
