  • Patent number: 10047990
Abstract: A control system for a refrigeration circuit having one or more working fluid refrigerant sensors capable of measuring the fluid energy value of the refrigerant along a low side of the refrigeration circuit and regulating the flow of refrigerant to the circuit low side through reference to expected refrigerant fluid energy values.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 2014
Date of Patent: August 14, 2018
    Assignee: AAIM Controls, Inc.

  • Patent number: 8049522
Abstract: An ice thickness probe includes a longitudinally-extending probe rod, an insulator casing and a sleeve. The probe rod is fabricated from an electrically-conductive material. The insulator casing is fabricated from an electrically-insulative material and is wrapped around, is in contact with and extends along the probe rod. The sleeve is fabricated from a stiff yet resilient material and is wrapped around, is in contact with and extends along the insulator casing. The insulator casing and the sleeve are concentrically disposed about the probe rod as viewed in cross-section. An ice thickness probe assembly includes a frame structure, a reference bar and at least one ice thickness probe. An ice thickness monitoring apparatus is used in a thermal storage coil having a tank containing water and a tube disposed in the water so that, when the thermal ice storage coil is energized, ice is produced and accumulates on the tube.

  • Patent number: 5737190
Abstract: A digital input/output circuit board includes a plurality of module receptacles for selectively mounting input modules or output modules, wiring terminals for attaching field wires to electrically connect the circuit board to field devices, a hot wiring terminal for attaching a hot power wire, a neutral wiring terminal for attaching a neutral power wire, and a device for selecting the status of each of the module receptacles as either an input or an output, to enable a computer connected to the circuit board to receive input signals to read the state of the field devices and to send output signals to activate other field devices.

  • Patent number: 5724614
Abstract: A digital input/output circuit board includes a plurality of circuits each having an input module and an output module for mounting either an input module or an output module, wiring terminals for attaching field wires to electrically connect the circuit board to field devices, a hot wiring terminal for attaching a hot power wire, and a neutral wiring terminal for attaching a neutral power wire. A computer connected to the circuit board receives input signals indicating the state of the field devices and sends output signals to activate other field devices.
