  • Publication number: 20120003363
Abstract: An edible bread cup and an apparatus and method for making edible bread cups is disclosed. The apparatus for molding and baking dough into an edible cup has a top and a bottom molding sheet. The bottom molding sheet has several cup-shaped female molds for receiving several identically shaped male molds built into the top molding sheet. Dough is flattened into patties and is rested in the female molds, after which the male molds are lowered into the female molds, thereby shaping the dough to the cup-shape of the molds. Guiding rods on the top sheet slide into guiding tubes on the bottom sheet in order to align the sheets before the molds come into contact. After the sheets are brought together, clamps are secured around the edges of the sheets to hold the sheets together. The dough is baked while between the sheets, which causes the dough to rise and fill the cup-shaped void between the molds.

  • Publication number: 20100297579
Abstract: A dental device includes a generally C-shaped member with upper and lower arms and a central spring arm extending therebetween. Rubber cradle members on the upper and lower arms comfortably engage the top and bottom teeth, while the spring arm urges the arm members apart. In a preferred embodiment, the rubber cradle members are fitted onto distal end positions of the upper and lower arms and are locked in place by serrated members on the distal end portions, thereby preventing slipping or accidental removal of the rubber cradles. Alternatively, the rubber cradle members may be permanently applied to the distal end portions by a dipping and coating process. When inserted and properly positioned between the upper and lower teeth, the device holds the mouth open and permits full access and movement of dental tools within the mouth in the performance of basic dental procedures, while eliminating strain on the patient's jaw muscles.

  • Patent number: 4907604
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for rapidly extinguishing a lighted cigar and for saving the extinguished cigar for later consumption. The device comprises a hollow cylindrical tube having a closed end portion and an open end opposed to said closed end portion and a removable cap sized to fit within the open end of the tube for forming a substantially air tight container so as to promote rapid extinguishment of the lighted cigar. The cap in a preferred embodiment has a bore configured to receive and reshape an unlit, wetted tip of the extinguished cigar and a pin having a pointed end for punching a hole in the unlit cigar tip. The device further includes an adjustable snuffer for accommodating cigars of different lengths.
