Patent number: 11940987Abstract: An incorrect copy of a record of data can be prevented from being transmitted to a distributed ledger system. A first file can be received and can include information, in audio or video form, with a description of a subject matter of the record of data and with an authorization to transmit the copy to the distributed ledger system. The first file can be sent to a device. A second file can be received from the device and can include information that confirms that the description of the subject matter, included in the first file, is correct, and that confirms that an entity, which controlled production of the first file, has permission to authorize causing the copy to be transmitted to the distributed ledger system. The correct copy can be caused, based on a receipt of the first and the second files, to be transmitted to the distributed ledger system.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: POLYSIGN INC.Inventors: David Schwartz, Arthur Britto, Anna Tong, Kimon Papahadjopoulos, William Morris, Chiranjeeb Kataki, Eric Rodriguez, Conor Hanranhan

Patent number: 9233192Abstract: The present invention relates to polymers modified to increase their resorbability. In particular, the polymers of the invention have phenyl ester side chains which are good leaving groups and which thereby increase the resorption rate of the polymer relative to the same polymer, for example, bearing a comparable amount of an alkyl ester side chain. Such polymers are generally water insoluble, but when modified are able to solubilize drugs and upon degradation and resorption, release those in a physiological environment in a controlled and/or sustained manner.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2013Date of Patent: January 12, 2016Assignee: TYRX, INC.Inventors: Arthur Schwartz, Satish Pulapura, Sarita Nethula

Patent number: 8200714Abstract: A data tree is generated in memory by parsing a first XML file. Default setting requests and validation requests are read from a second XML file. Default data values for nodes in the data tree are generated by executing default data generation code from locations specified in the default setting requests and recorded in the data tree. The content of data stored in nodes of the data tree is then validated by executing validation code from locations specified in the validation requests. The data tree is then searched by getting a nodepath, parsing the nodepath into a plurality of path pieces, searching the data tree based on each of the path pieces, and returning one or more nodes of the data tree based on the search that satisfy the path pieces. A data value of one or more nodes or child nodes may be specified to narrow the search.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 2009Date of Patent: June 12, 2012Assignee: Oracle America, Inc.Inventor: Jack Arthur Schwartz
