  • Publication number: 20080276370
Abstract: A trolley for transporting a lying patient comprising a transferable table-top (8) for carrying the lying patient, which table-top (8) can be taken over by a stationary table-base. The trolley has free space below a main portion of the table-top (8), so that the table-top (8) can be located above the stationary table-base by moving the trolley towards the stationary table-base. The trolley comprises two end structures (1,2) each provided with rollers (6) for rolling over the floor, and an intermediate structure (3,4) connecting the two end structures (1,2). A main part of the intermediate structure (3,4) is located at a level near the table-top (8), so that the intermediate structure (3,4) can be moved over said stationary table-base.

  • Publication number: 20080244630
Abstract: A DVD data drive (2) includes a disc drive housing (4) that includes a DVD cartridge (16) and an optical pick-up unit (10) joined to the DVD cartridge (16) such that sensitive parts of the OPU (10) may extend within the DVD cartridge (16) and are shielded from the inner environment (6) of the disc drive housing (4). A fan (22) and air inlet provide (20) for cooling the OPU (10) and DVD cartridge (16) by the forced convection of unfiltered cooling air directed through the disc drive housing (4). The OPU (10) and DVD cartridge (16) are joined by a dust seal (30) that ensures that the cooling air directed through the disc drive housing (4) is shielded from sensitive parts of the OPU (10) which remains dust-free.

  • Publication number: 20060242764
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for the examination of persons, said device comprising a medical examination device (11) having an examination volume (12), a support (1) for a person to be examined, and displacing means (3) for displacing the support in a displacement direction in such a manner, that a person to be examined present on the support is displaced into and out of the examination volume. Said displacing means comprise a gearwheel (7), which is driven by driving means (5, 8) and is co-operating with a toothed rack (4) mounted to the support for displacing the toothed rack relative to the gear-wheel in the driven state of the gear-wheel. The displacing means comprise sub-displacing means (6, 9) for displacing the gear-wheel in its driven state in the displacement direction with a speed which is lower than the speed of support.
