  • Patent number: 6983847
Abstract: A needle package (1), particularly for packaging needles (N), has a hold-down device (23) that is disposed in an interior space (I) and serves to secure the needles (N) in the interior space (I). The hold-down device (23) is formed, for example, by one or two resilient elements, such as clamping lips (24, 25), which extend transversely to the needles (N) through the interior space (I). The clamping lips (24, 25) are disposed on the inside of a segment of the package (1) that is moved toward the needles (N) after the package has been filled, so the clamping lips (24, 25) rest against the needles (N). The segment can be formed, for example, by a lid segment (12) that is seated to pivot on the receiving area (3) of the package (1). This package can be filled particularly simply, and is suitable for various types of needles.

  • Patent number: 6619476
Abstract: A package (1) for packaging and storing elongated items such as sewing needles (2, 3) has a tray (5) and a lid part (6), which are held or connected together to define a housing space. The tray (5) and the lid part (6) each have a flap-type section (14, 19) at their bead end. These sections can be pivoted toward and away from one another, and can be latched together. When the two flaps (14, 19) are pivoted away from one another, they expose the ends of stored items, e.g., the sewing needles (2, 3), projecting out of the housing space (48), so the items can easily be pulled out of the housing space (48). It is therefore possible to secure the items or sewing needles (2, 3), for example, in a frictional, in the housing space (48).

  • Patent number: 5853087
Abstract: A packing receptacle for elongated articles includes a receiving part having a holding arrangement for individually positioning the articles therein; and a lid part having a first position in which the lid part is arranged on, and defines an article-receiving space with, the receiving part and a second position in which the lid part is removed from the receiving part. The article-receiving space has a removal opening through which the articles may be removed from the packing receptacle. A hinge interconnects the receiving part with the lid part for allowing a pivotal movement of the lid part about a hinge axis of the hinge from the second position into the first position. An anchoring device secures the lid part to the receiving part when the lid part is in the first position. Further, a closure arrangement is articulated to the lid part and/or the receiving part for movement into a closed position to block the removal opening and into an open position to unblock the removal opening.

  • Patent number: 5366083
Abstract: A packing and storing receptacle includes a bottom panel and a top panel superposed on the bottom panel and defining a pouch therewith for receiving at least a longitudinal part of the contents. The bottom and top panels are formed by a single, flexible sheet and are separated from one another by a transverse folding edge defining an end of the receptacle. The top panel has a terminal edge remote from the transverse folding edge and defining, together with the bottom panel, a removal opening of the pouch. The bottom and top panels have longitudinal lateral edges extending generally perpendicularly to the transverse folding edge along the length of the receptacle. There are also provided lateral and/or transverse tabs cut out, bent out from and integrally attached to the flexible sheet for laterally guiding and positioning the contents. The longitudinal lateral edges of the bottom panel are directly and/or indirectly connected to the longitudinal lateral edges of the top panel at transversely opposite zones.
