    Abstract: The inner walls of the eye, i.e., the fundus, are examined in panorama with an optical lens comprising a truncate paraboloidal mirror and a corneal contact objective lens. While held in contact with the cornea, the fundus is observed by projecting a light beam into the eye through the lens and viewing the interior eye with a microscope, e.g., a standard slit lamp instrument.
