    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for securing porcelain and ceramic tiles to curtain wall mullions comprising the use of structural panels made of light-weight but rigid materials, such as aluminum. The tiles are preferably secured to the panels using structural silicone, and secured to the frame using components such as tile retainers, stops, gaskets and sealants. The frame is preferably made of snap-together members and supported by building structures to withstand lateral loads, such as caused by heavy wind pressure and flying debris.
