Abstract: A foldable keyboard having a plurality of folding keyboard sections. Each keyboard section includes a frame carrying a key set having a plurality of keys. The key set may be movable laterally relative to the frame. The frame with the key set is foldable with respect to an adjacent frame. The frame provides a self-contained enclosure for the keyboard assembly when fully closed. When opened, the keyboard assembly can be a full-size standard QWERTY keyboard.

Abstract: The present invention provides a hinged stand for supporting an article, which includes a first member that includes a first support recess and a first bearing surface; a second member that includes a second support recess and a second bearing surface; and a breakaway hinged connection between the first and second members, which includes a hinge; and a first bias to constrain the first and second members at an operational non-zero angle relative to one another about the hinge. Abstract: The present invention is a computer controlled display device. In one embodiment, the display device includes a flat panel display having an input for receiving display data. Additionally, a moveable assembly may be coupled to the display. The moveable assembly may provide at least three degrees of freedom of movement for the flat panel display device. Additionally, the moveable assembly may have a cross-sectional area, which is substantially less than a cross-sectional area of a display structure of the flat panel display. Additionally, the moveable assembly may include a plurality of stacked ball-and-socket assemblies.

Abstract: A retention device for eyeglasses includes a swingable clip lever pivoted essentially on the same pivot with one of the temples of the eyeglasses. A mechanical linkage causes the clip lever to lie closely alongside the temple when the temple is fully closed and when the temple is fully opened, but to swing away from the temple in intermediate positions, thus enabling the clip to be engaged over an edge of clothing or other material to retain the eyeglasses in place when not being worn by a person. Preferably an over-center device is included to firmly retain the temple in the closed position until deliberately opened.
