  • Publication number: 20240086567
Abstract: This disclosure describes a schema modification system that, as part of an inter-network facilitation system, can intelligently generate and update payload schemas for maintaining compatibility across changing network components. For example, the disclosed systems utilize custom tooling to detect changes in component versions and to update payload schemas to translate digital payloads between components that require different payload formats (e.g., due to an update to one component or another). In some cases, the disclosed systems can utilize a code generator to generate a payload conversion code from a payload schema and can implement the payload conversion code to convert a digital payload from a source format to a target format (e.g., to pass from a source component to a target component). The disclosed systems can also utilize schema annotations that accompany a payload schema to perform various functions, including removing sensitive information and identifying third-party systems.

  • Patent number: 11928897
Abstract: In some examples, a system may include a first computing device communicatively coupled to a second computing device. Additionally, the first computing device is configured to obtain, from the second computing device, check-in data indicating an arrival of the user of the second computing device at a first location, and in response to obtaining the check-in data, determine current wait times. Moreover, the first computing device is configured to determine a first number of customers waiting for service, determine a first number of associates available to assist the first number of customers, and determine an expected wait time for the user operating the second computing device based at least on the current wait times. In some examples, the first number of customers waiting for service, and the first number of associates available. Further, the first computing device is configured to transmit the expected wait time to the second computing device.

  • Patent number: 10063382
Abstract: A request is received from a requestor for security credentials. An initial credential authority is selected based upon a first predetermined criteria. When the initial credentials authority is not available, a back-up credentials authority is chosen based upon a second predetermined criteria. The security credentials are obtained from the back-up certificate authority. The security credentials are transmitted to the requestor.

  • Patent number: 8915679
Abstract: An ash transport system and method is provided that includes a transport line, four hoppers, and an airlock or hopper valve attached to each hopper. The ash transport system transports an ash mass from the airlock or hopper valve to the transport line if pressure in the transport line falls below a predefined pressure threshold assigned to the respective airlock or hopper valve. After a predefined period of time elapses, the ash transport system transports the ash mass from the airlock or hopper valve to the transport line if the pressure in the transport line falls below different respective predefined pressure thresholds. The airlocks and hopper valves simultaneously transport the ash masses to the transport line if, prior to the predefined period of time elapsing, the pressure in the transport line falls below each of the respective predefined pressure thresholds.

  • Publication number: 20090066641
Abstract: Methods and systems for interpreting and processing data streams from a plurality of sensors on a motion-capture device are described. In various embodiments, an engine module of the system receives a raw input data stream comprising motion and non-motion data. Metadata is associated with data segments within the input data stream to produce a stream of data profiles. In various embodiments, an interpreter converts received data profiles into non-contextual tokens and/or commands recognizable by an application adapted for external control. In various embodiments, a parser converts received non-contextual tokens into contextual tokens and/or commands recognizable by an application adapted for external control. In various embodiments, the system produces commands based upon the non-contextual and/or contextual tokens and provides the commands to the application. The application can be a video game, software operating on a computer, or a remote-controlled apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20060025229
Abstract: An orientation and position tracking system and method in three-dimensional space and over a period of time utilizing multiple inertial and other sensors for determining motion parameters to measure orientation and position of a moveable object. The sensors, for example vibrational and angular velocity sensors, generate signals characterizing the motion of the moveable object. The information is received by a data acquisition system and processed by a microcontroller. The data is then transmitted to an external data reception system (locally based or a global network), preferably via wireless communication. The information can then be displayed and presented to the user through a variety of means including audio, visual, and tactile. According to various embodiments, the present invention provides for a motion tracking apparatus and method for implementation in motion systems including systems to teach motion to a group and for body motion capture and analysis systems.

  • Patent number: 6684823
Abstract: An impulse generator produces controlled pressure waves for removing ash deposits from heat exchangers in a boiler. The impulse generator has a fuel inlet, an air inlet, an ignitor, an outlet, and a control system for selectively and intermittently igniting the fuel and air to produce the pressure waves. In a first exemplary embodiment, the impulse generator includes a toroidal-shaped body with a tangential air inlet for inducing a helical swirling flow of the fuel and the air. In a second exemplary embodiment, the impulse generator includes a turbulizer with a corkscrew-shaped vane for inducing a helical swirling flow of the fuel and the air. In addition, an exemplary ash deposit removal method includes adjusting the fuel flow, airflow, ignition dwell time, and/or ignition interval time to selectively adjust the combustion mode between deflagrative and detonative combustion.
