  • Publication number: 20220100327
Abstract: A method is performed at a server system associated with a media streaming service. The method includes providing, a first client device, playback of a first media content item; and receiving, from the first client device, a second media content item to be associated with the first media content item. The method includes, after receiving the second media content item from the first client device: providing, a second client device, a user interface that includes graphical representations of a plurality of media content items that have been uploaded by other users of the media streaming service as related to the first media content item; receiving, from the second client device, a user selection of a graphical representation of the second media content item; and in response, providing the second media content item concurrently with playback of the first media content item.

  • Publication number: 20210103363
Abstract: Described herein are methods and electronic devices for performing playback of streamed media, including complementing a media content item with an associated media content item. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, during playback of a first media content item, a message is sent to a computer server system, to return information that a related second media content item is selectable. The information that the second media content item is selectable is displayed at a user interface as a visual array of tiles, wherein each one of the tiles corresponds to a respective second media content item. Playback of the second media content item can be combined with the first media content item. By displaying information about selectable associated media content items to a user, the user will be enabled to individually select associated media content items to complement a currently playbacked media content item.

  • Patent number: 10021156
Abstract: Described herein are methods and electronic devices for performing playback of streamed media, including uploading an associated second media content item while performing playback of a first media content item. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, when performing playback of a first media content item, a message is sent to a computer server system, to return information that a service for sharing a related second media content item is selectable. The information is displayed at a user interface as a visual array of tiles, wherein each tile corresponds to a respective service. When a service is requested, a service data is processed, and the second media content item captured and uploaded with the requested service. By enabling a user to obtain media content items associated to the currently playbacked media content item, the user may find associated media content items, which he/she normally should not have been aware of.

  • Patent number: 8780114
Abstract: An embodiment can include an interactive memory map that includes a graphical representation of a region of memory used by a program. The memory map may dynamically update as the program executes and may provide a user with indicators that identify how the program interacts with the memory. The indicators may identify memory locations that are being written by the program and/or memory locations that are being read by the program while the program executes. The memory map may assist a user in understanding how the executing program interacts with memory. The interactive memory map may further allow the user to manipulate how information is stored in the memory by allowing the user to select, add, remove, modify, move, etc., program information stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 7613589
Abstract: Methods and systems for automatically measuring productivity and quality of model-based designs are disclosed. The present invention uses model contents, time spent, and input activities to measure effort put in a task and quality of the task. Defects and other model characteristics are tracked and used as a criterion to determine quality of a model-based design. The present invention allows for predicting resources required for a future task and for providing guidelines to improve usability of an application.

  • Patent number: 7562523
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for determining a regeneration cycle thermal ramp. A thermal ramp module estimates a regeneration cycle thermal ramp. A soot content module estimates a soot content for a filter. In one embodiment, an oxygen content module estimates an oxygen gas concentration for the filter. A thermal profile module calculates a thermal profile for the filter as a function of the soot content and the thermal ramp. The thermal profile module may also include the oxygen content in the thermal profile calculation. A test module modifies the regeneration cycle thermal ramp if the thermal profile exceeds a thermal threshold. In one embodiment, a communication module may communicate a warning if the thermal ramp exceeds a warning threshold.

  • Patent number: 6910329
Abstract: A system for controlling the temperature of a particulate filter coupled to an exhaust outlet of an internal combustion engine includes a controller responsive to volumetric flow and temperature of exhaust gas to determine a filter regeneration parameter. In a hybrid electric-engine vehicle application, various control strategies are implemented as a function of the regeneration parameter to control exhaust gas temperature suitably for proper regeneration of the particulate filter. Such strategies include shifting the duty cycle of the engine toward lower engine speed operation along lines of constant power output, modifying the ratio of electrical power and engine power and controlling recharging of the battery supplying electrical energy to the vehicle's electric drive motor under vehicle deceleration conditions.
