  • Publication number: 20240089179
Abstract: Technologies are provided for providing a dashboard interface corresponding to one or more datacenter components for information originating from one or more proprietary applications. A selection of information corresponding to the one or more datacenter components is initially received. Upon receiving the selection, an application programming interface (API) call request is made for the information corresponding to the one or more datacenter components from the one or more proprietary applications. As the information corresponding to one or more datacenter components from the one or more proprietary applications is received, it is aggregated and provided within the dashboard interface.

  • Patent number: 11119994
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for record-by-record live migration using segmentation are disclosed. Migration of a data set comprises, for a record in a segment being migrated, storing a first status indicating that the record is offline in a source data store. An instance of the record is stored in the destination data store, and a second status is stored to indicate that the record is online in the destination. The record is deleted from the source after the second status is stored. During the migration, a read request for the record is received and determined to be associated with the segment being migrated. A response to the read request is generated that comprises an authoritative instance of the record. The instance of the record in the destination is determined to represent the authoritative instance based (at least in part) on the first status and the second status.

  • Patent number: 10979303
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for segmentation of maintenance on distributed systems are disclosed. A data set is partitioned according to a hash function into a plurality of segments. A maintenance activity is initiated on a first segment. During the maintenance activity, a first request to perform a first action on the data set is received. Based at least in part on determining that the first request is associated with the first segment using the hash function, the first action is performed using additional processing associated with the maintenance activity. During the maintenance activity, a second request to perform a second action on the data set is received. Based at least in part on determining that the second request is associated with a second segment using the hash function, the second action is performed without the additional processing associated with the maintenance activity.

  • Patent number: 10649261
Abstract: A liquid crystal eWriter system with a resistive digitizer and having palm rejection includes the following features. An eWriter includes eWriter substrates that are spaced apart from each other, an upper one of the eWriter substrates being formed of a flexible, clear polymeric material and a lower one of the eWriter substrates being formed of a flexible polymeric material. Electrically conductive layers are spaced apart from each other and located between the eWriter substrates. A dispersion layer including a dispersion of cholesteric liquid crystal material and polymer is disposed between the electrically conductive layers. Pressure applied to the eWriter changes a reflectance of the cholesteric liquid crystal material forming an image. A resistive digitizer determines a location of the pressure applied to the eWriter.

  • Patent number: 10425451
Abstract: A server-side telephone system that accepts Web browser calls. The telephone system can act as an intermediary between multiple call participants, even though each is limited to a single peer to peer connection. This allows providing an interface that enables Web browser call participants to put a call on hold, resume a call from hold, receive an inbound call while already on an existing call, and merge calls into a conference session. The telephone system permits calls to be translated outside the original caller's Web browser call domain, such as to an old telephone network landline, cellular network, Voice over IP network, or other call domain. Media exchanged between parties may include Web browser call participant data for interactive sessions. Conversions between media that are necessary to connect call participants with different systems are possible. Call sessions that are put on hold may be connected to an automated system that provides media, for example “on hold” music.

  • Patent number: 10392527
Abstract: Barrier coatings with efficacy against oxygen and nuisance substances are described that comprise lower molecular weight PVOH and EVOH co-polymers, when coated on flexible substrates. Coating formulations comprising these co-polymers advantageously tolerate moderate to higher proportions of organic solvents in aqueous blends, and thus produce faster drying coating formulations.

  • Patent number: 10287503
Abstract: An enhanced brightness cholesteric liquid crystal eWriter device for writing and drawing includes substrates and electrically conductive layers disposed on the substrates. There is a gap, d, between the electrically conductive layers. Polymer dispersed cholesteric liquid crystal material is disposed in the gap. The polymer dispersed cholesteric liquid crystal material exhibits a written reflectance, R, which occurs in response to pressure applied to one of the substrates that changes reflectance of the cholesteric liquid crystal material. The device follows the relationship Rd1<Rd2 and d1>d2, where Rd2 is a written reflectance of an eWriter device of gap d2 and Rd1 is written reflectance of another eWriter device of gap d1. Further, a cholesteric liquid crystal eWriter device includes a layer of cholesteric liquid crystal material in a cell gap, d, wherein d<3 ?m.

  • Patent number: 10088701
Abstract: A cholesteric liquid crystal (ChLC) electronic writing device incorporates a dot pattern recognition system. When writing pressure is applied to the writing device an image composed of writing or drawing is displayed by a pressure sensitive ChLC polymer dispersion stacked in a multilayer system of the device. A specialized stylus with sensor and associated electronics is used to form the image on the electronic writing device. The stylus produces electrical information indicating the path or trajectory of the writing that is displayed by the electronic writing device, which can be transferred via wireless signal to any other displaying device. This forms a replica image on the displaying device that is a replica of the image on the electronic writing device.
