Abstract: This publication relates to a system and a method for hauling fish gear, such as longlines, gillnets or demersal seine nets, into a fishing vessel (10) and collecting and transporting catch (12) to a working station, using a hatch (16) in a part of a hull exposed to the sea and arranged in a water line region (27) of the vessel (10); a vertical well (18) for receipt of at least pa rt of the catch through the hatch (16); a transport device for transporting the catch to the deck; and with means for bringing the catch to flow towards the transport device. The transport device (24,25) used is arranged in a shaft (19), separated from the well (18), and a closeable opening or hatch (23) is arranged in a wall or bulkhead (21) between the well (18) and the shaft (19) 127 and with devices for opening and closing the opening or hatch (23), and a bottom (22) in the shaft (19).

Abstract: A device is described for conveying a catch, such as fish, which is brought on board a vessel and loosened from the fishing tackle for transport to further processing, and it is characterized in that in connection to or below the unhooking location of the vessel, a tilting gliding chute is arranged, onto which the fish is made to fall to be transported to further processing.

Abstract: A method for handling fish (42) which are pulled, or fall, off a fishing line (10) when it is hauled on board a fishing boat, is disclosed. The method is characterized in that the fish are forced to drop into a water-filled well (11) inside the vessel, and the water in the well (11), and in that the fish, is forced to flow in the direction towards the transport section (3,4) in conjunction with the well (11), from where fish are transported to further treatment. A device for the implementation of the method is also disclosed.
