  • Publication number: 20240065822
Abstract: A system and a method for treating an aortic dissection comprising deploying a crescent-shaped stent graft in the false lumen through the re-entry point. The stent graft comprises a graft structure secured to a stent structure. The stent graft is geometrically configured to block or occlude the blood flow through to the false lumen.

  • Publication number: 20240050714
Abstract: Presented is an improved multifunctional balloon catheter having multiple balloons and lumens that can be inserted into a vessel (artery or vein or microvasculature) within a specific region of a human body to perform a combination of therapeutic procedures including but not limited to widening narrowed or obstructed vessel to allow an improved blood flow therethrough, perform stent/implant delivery and placement to ensure the vessel remains open, and localized/targeted delivery of various treatment/therapeutic agents to an affected area within the vessel.

  • Publication number: 20200337837
Abstract: Disclosed herein are device assemblies for endovascular prosthesis implantation in a human patient comprising a collapsed delivery configuration and an expanded deployed configuration comprising: a stent frame comprising a plurality of expandable stent cells arranged in more than one layer and stacked in a longitudinal direction; a valve attached to the stent frame; and an expandable sealing skirt coupled to the stent frame, the expandable sealing skirt comprising a protruding region configured to expand radially past the stent frame when the device assembly is in the expanded deployed configuration and a non-protruding region.

  • Publication number: 20080255606
Abstract: A filtering apparatus for collecting emboli or thromboli in a body lumen. The apparatus may be a temporary filtering device mounted on a core wire for use during interventional procedures or a semi-permanent filtering device that is left within a body lumen for a therapeutically appropriate length of time. The filtering device includes a tubular member having an outer surface for apposition with the body lumen and a filter member positioned within an interior of the tubular member. The fitter member includes an apex at a proximal end that is positioned along a longitudinal axis of the filtering device, a distal end attached to the tubular member, and an outer surface facing an inner surface of the tubular member.

  • Publication number: 20070060998
Abstract: An endoluminal delivery system is provided having an endoluminal prosthesis sized to fit through a body lumen in a first unexpanded state, where a second state is an expanded relative to the first state. At least one delivery capsule is incorporated to the outer wall of the endoluminal prosthesis, where each one of the delivery capsules has a predetermined delivery pressure. There is at least one reactant in the delivery capsule, where the endoluminal prosthesis is expanded from the first state to the second state to expand the endoluminal prosthesis against the body lumen and induce the predetermined delivery pressure to the delivery capsule, and deliver the reactants to the body lumen according to desired positioning and timing. At least one containment band incorporated to the outer wall of the endoluminal prosthesis and positioned near the delivery capsules to localize the reactants.
