  • Patent number: 9854110
Abstract: In a network environment, an e-mail to which an image obtained by a scanner (image obtaining device) is attached is stored in a folder on a Web mail service, not via a terminal. Therefore an application is prepared such that management and communication between a terminal, an MFP (scanner) and an e-mail service are executable via themselves. As a result, the e-mail to which the image obtained by the scanner is attached can be stored on the Web mail service, not via a terminal only by operating the application without setting up a driver of the scanner MFP to the terminal.

  • Patent number: 9537850
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a storage unit capable of storing authentication information corresponding to a web service. Information is output in a web page corresponding to a first web service so as to cause a display unit to display, via a web browser, an indicator to receive an instruction to delete the authentication information stored in the storage unit. Upon receiving the instruction by the output indicator, deletion processing of authentication information corresponding to a second web service different from the first web service is executed in the storage unit.

  • Patent number: 9141587
Abstract: A print control method causes a printing apparatus to print an image on the basis of a structured document containing a plurality of hierarchical elements. In the print control method, a print preview image and a tree view showing a hierarchy of the elements contained in the structured document are displayed. In the tree view, the elements are displayed in a selectable manner When an instruction to specify an element is input, an updated print preview image including the specified element is displayed. Thus, the user can easily remove unnecessary part of a Web page on a print preview screen and print the resulting Web page.

  • Publication number: 20100088606
Abstract: An image processing system includes a server apparatus and a client apparatus connected to each other via a network. The client apparatus inputs text and pieces of font attribute information and transmits the text and information to the server apparatus. The server apparatus stores pieces of rendering shape information of characters and transmits pieces of rendering shape information corresponding to pieces of font attribute information received from the client apparatus to the client apparatus. The client apparatus generates an image corresponding to the text on the basis of the pieces of rendering shape information received from the server apparatus and displays the image in a display device. Particularly, the server apparatus transmits pieces of rendering shape information corresponding to individual characters in the received text to the client apparatus. The client apparatus generates images of the characters. Accordingly, a character string received from the server apparatus can be easily modified.
