  • Publication number: 20240069457
Abstract: The toner contains binder resin-containing toner particles and silica fine particle S1, wherein the weight-average particle diameter of the toner is 4.0-15.0 ?m, both inclusive, peaks originating with the silica fine particle S1 are observed in 29 Si-NMR measurement of the silica fine particle S1, and, in the spectrum obtained by 29Si CP/MAS NMR or 29Si DD/MAS NMR, the peak area of a peak corresponding to the D1 unit structure in the silica fine particle S1, the peak area of a peak corresponding to the D2 unit structure in the silica fine particle S1, and the peak area of a peak corresponding to the Q unit structure in the silica fine particle S1 satisfy a prescribed relationship.

  • Patent number: 8508808
Abstract: An optical scanning apparatus has: a deflection unit that scans beams emitted from a plurality of laser light sources; an imaging unit having one or more optical elements for imaging beams scanned by the deflection unit; and a supporting unit having a higher rigidity than a rigidity of the imaging unit. The supporting unit has a pair of receiving members that support the imaging unit, in a sub-scanning direction, near both ends, as seen in a main scanning direction, of the imaging unit. The optical scanning apparatus also has; a bend-adjustment unit that corrects bend. The bend-adjustment unit is disposed on the supporting unit at a plurality of positions along the main scanning direction. The optical scanning apparatus further has a free-sliding unit for securing free expansion of the imaging unit due to temperature changes thereof.

  • Patent number: 8174747
Abstract: An optical scanning apparatus for scanning a surface to be scanned includes: a light source that emits laser beam; a deflector that deflects the laser beam emitted from the light source; a plurality of optical scanning elements that introduce the deflected laser beam to the surface to be scanned; a housing that holds therein at least one of the light source, the deflector, and the scanning optical elements; a light receiving element that receives the deflected laser beam; a mirror that introduces the deflected laser beam to the light receiving element; and a holder that is provided on the housing and that holds the light receiving element and the mirror integrally.

  • Patent number: 7764912
Abstract: A developer amount regulation blade structure that effectively reduces assembly cost and improves image quality configured to form a layer of a developer on a developer bearer includes a regulation blade configured to regulate a thickness of the developer on the developer bearer, a first supporting member configured to support the regulation blade maintaining a gap between the regulation blade and the developer bearer, and a second supporting member configured to sandwich the regulation blade tightly with the first supporting member, wherein at least one of the first supporting member and the second supporting member is made of a plastically deformable material, and the second supporting member and the first supporting member sandwich the regulation blade by at least two plastically deformed portions separated from each other in a longitudinal direction of the first supporting member and connecting the first supporting member and the second supporting member.
