  • Publication number: 20200228726
Abstract: A finder display unit displays a live view image based on a captured image generated by an imaging unit. A digital signal processing unit detects a movement vector between frames in the live view image for a predetermined portion in the captured image. A digital signal processing unit changes a display range of the live view image on the finder display unit based on the detected movement vector of a peripheral portion in the captured image.

  • Patent number: 10712634
Abstract: There is provided a digital camera that can suppress the generation of vibration caused by the operation of a shutter. One end portion of a camera body (10) forms a grip region (10A), and a drive unit (120) of a focal-plane shutter unit (110) is disposed within the range of the grip region (10A). Further, a battery (92) is disposed between an image sensor (70) and a display unit (100) at an end portion of the camera body opposite to a grip region (10A). Since the drive unit (120) of the focal-plane shutter unit (110) is disposed within the range of the grip region (10A), a portion of the camera body, which is close to the center of rotation of a shutter curtain, can be gripped with a hand at the time of handheld imaging. Accordingly, the generation of vibration can be effectively suppressed. Further, since the battery (92) is disposed at the end portion of the camera body opposite to the grip region (10A), the moment of inertia about the grip region (10A) can be increased.

  • Patent number: 10681252
Abstract: There is provided a digital camera of which the stable operation of a shutter can be performed by compact structure and which can suppress the generation of vibration caused by the operation of a shutter. A grip portion (22) is provided at one end portion of a camera body (10), and a charge section (124) of a focal-plane shutter unit (110) is disposed within a range GA of the grip portion (22). Further, a battery is disposed between an image sensor and a display unit at an end portion of the camera body opposite to the grip portion (22). Since the charge section is disposed within the range of the grip portion, a drive section (122) and the charge section (124) can be disposed close to each other. Accordingly, a drive unit for a focal-plane shutter can be made compact, and a shutter curtain can be charged with a stable operation even in a case in which the shutter curtain is to be charged with large torque.

  • Patent number: 10634976
Abstract: A camera body includes a mount, a solid-state imaging element, a body control unit, a diopter value detection unit, a number-of-configurations storage unit, a rear display unit, and a finder unit. An interchangeable lens is attached to the mount. The body control unit counts the number of configurations by the diopter adjustment dial for each diopter value of the finder unit configured by the diopter adjustment dial and stores the number of configurations in the number-of-configurations storage unit. In a case where the diopter value of the finder unit has been configured by the diopter adjustment dial, the body control unit changes a configuration screen to be displayed on the rear display unit according to the number of configurations stored in the number-of-configurations storage unit.

  • Patent number: 10602069
Abstract: A first display unit is a variable-angle liquid crystal display device, and is a transmissive type color liquid crystal display device that mainly displays a live view image. A second display unit is a reflective type monochrome liquid crystal display device that mainly displays camera information items. In a case where it is difficult to view a display screen since intensity of light radiated to the display screen of the first display unit is high and both the display screens of the first display unit and the second display unit are simultaneously visible by adjusting an angle of the display screen of the first display unit, information to be displayed on the second display unit is switched to information (a live view image of a binary image) for supporting framing from the camera information items.

  • Patent number: 10587854
Abstract: An imaging element captures an optical image incident through an imaging lens. A finder device is configured to be capable of observing the optical image. An EVFLCD displays information to be observable in a state of being overlapped on or being close to the optical image, in the finder device. An EVF display controller controls the EVFLCD so that target color temperature information indicating a color temperature that is a target of color temperature adjustment and image color temperature information indicating a color temperature of the captured image are displayed as the information. A color temperature adjustment unit adjusts the color temperature of the captured image obtained by capturing the optical image using the imaging element based on a color temperature adjustment operation. In a case where the color temperature adjustment operation is performed, the image color temperature information is changed in accordance with an adjustment operation amount.

  • Patent number: 10582096
Abstract: The digital camera includes a first display unit which is a variable-angle display device disposed on a rear surface of a camera main body and a second display unit disposed on an upper surface of the camera main body. A display controller displays the live view image and first camera information items on the first display unit, and displays second camera information items on the second display unit. In a case where the first display unit and the second display unit have a posture relationship with which display screens thereof are simultaneously visible, the display controller removes at least overlapped information items among the first camera information items displayed on the first display unit which are overlapped with the second camera information items displayed on the second display unit from the first display unit through first animation and second animation indicating a removing process.

  • Patent number: 10571781
Abstract: Provided are a camera that is capable of preventing an erroneous operation with a compact configuration and has good operability, a setting method of the camera, and a setting program of the camera. A part of the outer periphery of a command dial is built in a camera body, and a part of the command dial is disposed in an exposed manner from the back surface of the camera body for a rotation operation. A sub-display is disposed on the command dial in an overlapped manner. The sub-display is formed of a touch panel and detects contact with a display surface of the sub-display. An operation by the command dial is validated while the contact with the display surface of the sub-display is detected.

  • Patent number: 10567662
Abstract: The digital camera includes a finder section, an imaging optical system, a focus ring, an eye sensor, an imaging element, a main control section, a digital signal processing section, and a finder display control section. The imaging element outputs first and second imaging signals obtained by receiving the first and second rays formed by performing pupil division on the subject image. The main control section calculates an amount of defocus so as to generate a defocus image, on the basis of first and second imaging signals obtained by receiving first and second rays. The eye sensor detects an eye position P of a photographer who is in contact with the finder section. The finder display control section changes a position, at which the defocus image is displayed, in accordance with the direction of shift of the eye position P.

The imaging element outputs first and second imaging signals obtained by receiving the first and second rays formed by performing pupil division on the subject image. The main control section generates a defocus image, which indicates an amount of defocus of the imaging optical system, for each main subject area, on the basis of the first and second imaging signals obtained in the plurality of main subject areas. The finder display control section displays a defocus image of the single main subject area at a position where the main subject does not overlap with another main subject area.
