Abstract: A machine tool includes a pallet exchanger that is placed adjacent to one side of a body cover covering a workpiece machining space, and that exchanges a first pallet on which a machined workpiece is mounted and that is fixed to an upper surface of a table and a second pallet on which a workpiece to be machined is mounted. The pallet exchanger includes a turning member that has a first holding portion and a second holding portion formed in a pair and turns in a horizontal direction. The first holding portion is located at a first end of the turning member and holds the first pallet, and the second holding portion is located at a second end on the opposite side of the turning member from the first end and holds the second pallet.

Abstract: A pallet exchanging device is provided which can secure a sufficient working space and can cope with a multi-phase pallet exchanging system without increasing the size of the device. In a pallet exchanging device, a pallet stocker is constituted so that any pallet placing pedestal can be brought to a delivery position where a pallet is delivered and received to/from an arm, and the arm can be moved between a first position where pallets are exchanged in the working machine main body and a second position where a pallet is delivered and received at the delivery position of the pallet stocker. When the arm is moved to the second position, a space for a worker is provided on a front side of a work carry-in port.

Abstract: A tool conveyer for use with a machine tool includes: a rotatable first link (15); a first fluid pressure cylinder (17) for driving the first link: a second link (20) rotatably connected at its intermediate portion to an free end of the first link; a tool holder (11) connected to a first end of the second link; a first guide (23) for rectilinearly guiding the tool holder in a tool conveying direction; and a second guide (24) for a second end of the second link in a direction perpendicular to the first guide. When the second link is rotated by the first fluid pressure cylinder via the first link, the tool holder is rectilinearly transferred between a tool magazine and an automatic tool changer. The tool conveyer further includes first, second, and third gears (26, 27, 28); a second fluid pressure cylinder (29) for driving the first gear; and a catch (11a) provided on the tool holder for booking a pot (4) and a tool (3).
