Abstract: Embodiments include apparatuses, methods, and a computer system including a calibrator that may calibrate sensor data of a plurality of sensors of a head worn wearable adorn on a head of a user. The calibrator may calibrate sensor data for one or more notifications or events to generate calibrated sensor data that reflects physical attributes, positions or postures of the user. The calibrated sensor data may be used to determine an orientation or movement of the head of the user, which may further be used to detect a head gesture defined by the user that corresponds to a computer command. Abstract: Some embodiments include a robot that may be used to facilitate education and/or therapy. The robot can include a head section configured to interface with a mobile device to control the robot. The robot can also include a tail section having a movement device controlled by the mobile device and a battery to power the movement device. The robot can have a furry exterior to emulate an intelligent pet. A remote controller can communicate with the mobile device to communicate or activate lesson or therapy commands. The remote controller can provide a design interface to configure the lesson or therapy commands.

Abstract: A portable hand-held device (20) has a camera (102) for use by a professional truck driver while on the road to allow pictures taken to be transmitted via a transceiver of the device through a cellular telephone network to an Internet site that is linked with the telephone network and that can be securely accessed via the Internet from a personal computer at the driver's home. Pictures from home can be uploaded to the site and when one is, an alert is issued to the driver. The device also includes a GPS (132) for enabling the site to display travel of the driver on a map.
