    Abstract: The carabiner comprises a C-shaped body (1) and a gate (2) fitted movable between an open position and a closed position. The gate (2) is fitted rotatable with respect to the body (1). The gate (2) defines a cavity (2a) receiving a spring (4). A pusher (5) presses on the body (1). The spring (4) installed in the cavity (2a) of the gate (2) presses on the gate (2) and on the pusher (5) to bias the gate (2) to the closed position. The spring (4) is a coil spring extending along the longitudinal axis of the cavity (2a). The spring (4) and pusher (5) are fixedly mounted on one another to form a monolithic assembly.

In a threshold position of the handle, the first mechanical link is interrupted and the cam returns to the securing position. The second stop is movable with respect to the handle by means of a spring. When movement of the handle takes place, the second pin comes into contact with the second stop before the handle stresses a spring and reaches the threshold position.

The base plate further includes a damping cup that is intended to house the head of the plug and the conduit following compression by the head of the plug, once the fastening plug has been driven through the base plate. The cup and the conduit are designed in such a manner that cooperation between the plug shank and the conduit causes the cup to at least partially cover the head of the plug when the plug is driven through the base plate.

The base plate moreover includes a damping cup in which the conduit, following compression by the head of the plug having a larger diameter than the conduit, and the head of the plug are intended to be housed once the plug has been driven through the base plate. The cup made of elastic material and the conduit are designed in such a manner that the cooperation between the plug shank and the conduit when the plug is driven through the base plate leads the cup to at least partially cover the head of the plug. The invention is particularly suitable for fastening wiring ducts.
