    Abstract: There is described a protective helmet stand including one or more support members. The stand is moveable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. In the expanded configuration the stand is arranged to receive and support a protective helmet using the one or more support members which are arranged to contact an outer surface of the protective helmet in use. In the collapsed configuration the stand has a maximum dimension of up to 10 cm. Thus the stand may easily fit into a user's pocket in the collapsed configuration.
