  • Publication number: 20240177397
Abstract: Methods and systems are described that use a three-dimensional (3D) model of a dental site to generate a panoramic two-dimensional (2D) image of the dental site. In one example, a method includes receiving a 3D model of the dental site generated at least in part from an intraoral scan, generating a surface shaped to substantially surround a dental arch represented by the dental site, computing a surface projection by projecting the dental site onto the surface, and generating the panoramic 2D image from the surface projection.

  • Patent number: 11940284
Abstract: A system for casual driver ride sharing includes an interface and processor. The interface is to receive a request for a ride from a user, wherein the request includes GPS information for the user. The processor is to determine compatibility between the typical route information and the request for the ride; determine a ranked list based at least in part on the compatibility; and provide a ride offer to a driver of the one or more casual drivers based at least in part on the ranked list.

  • Patent number: 11911736
Abstract: An exemplary compounding method of controlling a compounding device to prepare an admixture of at least two distinct material sources can include examining material source solutions for incompatibility of the ingredients and operating a first and a second pump to prevent one of the incompatible source solutions from entering a common flow path. The processing method can detect degradation of a fluid line by evaluating one or more of calibration error rate data, cumulative volumetric flow data, or cumulative pump operation data. The processing method can also selectively transfer a first group of source solutions using the first pump, receiving pump data from one or more sensors that sense actions of the pumps, applying fluid correction factors and calculating discrete pump movements, the pump movements being indicative of an amount of source solution displacement by a pump, and operating the pumps to selectively dispense the source solution amounts according to a preparation order.

  • Patent number: 11693683
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for using certificate injection tasks to generate containers having corresponding digital certificates. One of the methods includes receiving, by the distributed computing system, a source container image. A certificate injection task is executed, including: launching a container instance from the source container image and executing injection code within an execution environment of the launched container instance that writes one or more digital certificates to one or more corresponding locations within a file system of the execution environment. An output container image having the one or more digital certificates is then generated.

  • Publication number: 20220198573
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing dental care benefits to a beneficiary through a matching tool that displays a list of dental services providers in response to a search by the beneficiary. The results are displayed according to a percent match score, which ranks the displayed providers according to user search criteria. Also disclosed is a system for providing dental services benefits through a computer program or application. The application includes a graphical user interface to facilitate interaction with a user, and performs a search for dental services providers according to a set of user criteria. The application accesses a plurality of entries on providers, the entries including the provider's name, location, offered dental services, pricing, hours, and contact information. The application also includes an administration module that performs a registration function, an employer account function, and an employee account function.

  • Patent number: 11183912
Abstract: The described apparatus and method enable alteration of motor properties during operation of a motor. For example, the rotor of the motor may be adjustable, during motor operation, between a first diameter and a larger, second diameter. When the diameter of the rotor increases, the distance between the electromagnetic coils of the stator and the magnets of the rotor increases, thereby reducing the back-electromotor force (back-EMF) of the motor. When the back-EMF of the motor decreases, the torque of the motor decreases but the maximum revolutions per minute (RPM) increases. When the diameter of the rotor decreases, the distance between the electromagnetic coils of the stator and the magnets of the rotor decreases, thereby increasing the back-EMF of the motor. When the back-EMF of the motor increases, the torque of the motor increases but the maximum RPM decreases.

  • Patent number: 11115624
Abstract: Systems and methods for joining a video conference. A first function can be found, wherein the first function can interact with a user interface element used by the recording bot server to join a video conference. The first function can be replaced by a second function, wherein the second function can be used to join the video conference such that the recording bot server does not interact with the user interface element. The second function can be used to join the video conference without interacting with the DOM.

  • Patent number: 10637312
Abstract: Described are methods and apparatus for altering the sound generated by a motor during operation. For example, the implementations described herein include a motor in which the spacing between the rotor magnets is non-uniform (i.e., the spacing varies between rotor magnets). With non-uniform spacing of the rotor magnets, the sound generated during operation of the motor is altered. In still other implementations, the spacing or alignment of the electromagnetic coils of the stator may also be non-uniform or irregularly spaced.
