  • Publication number: 20230205906
Abstract: The exemplary embodiments provide an improved approach to preventing exfiltration through email messages. The exemplary embodiments process outbound email messages to determine whether an outbound email message contains sensitive subject matter based on contextual information. The determination may be made based at least in part on the context reflected in the contextual information. In the exemplary embodiments, the determination of whether an outbound email message contains sensitive subject matter that should not be exfiltrated may be based at least in part on analysis performed by a trained neural network model.

  • Patent number: 11658987
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to detecting fraudulent activity on a user account based at least in part on a dynamic fraudulent user blacklist. The fraudulent activity may be identified based on a similarity of forensic profiling across multiple user accounts, for example, fraudulent activity occurring by the same fraudster or perpetrator may have a similar or identical fraudulent pattern across the multiple user accounts. By identifying the fraudulent user patterns associated the same fraudster and dynamically updating a blacklist to include these fraudulent user patterns, the same types of attacks may be prevented on the other existing user accounts.

  • Patent number: 11645787
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may provide an approach to converting multidimensional color data for an image encoded in a first color space into an intermediate form that is a single dimensional value. The exemplary embodiments may then decode the intermediate form value to produce an encoding of the color data that is encoded in a second color space that differs from the first color space. In this manner, the data for the image may be efficiently converted from an encoding in the first color space into an encoding in the second color space.

  • Patent number: 11636439
Abstract: Techniques to apply machine learning to schedule events of interest for a device user. As described herein, a typical device user is inundated with information suggesting activities and other things to do. Using these techniques, the information is categorized according to the activity and those activities that are most likely to be engaged in by the device user are recommended to the device user (via their device) as events of interest. If the device user selects an event of interest, the device is updated to reflect that selection. For instance, a calendar application may be updated to include an event description at the event's date and time. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20230064886
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for creating and utilizing multidimensional embedding spaces for data objects, such as to condition the data for input to a neural network, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to detecting data types for structured data based on learned metadata. In many embodiments, an embedding space for a set of data objects may be customized with a set of dimensions that correspond to various characteristics of the set of data objects. For example, a set of data objects may correspond to a table with each data object corresponding to a data entry in the table. In such examples, correlations between different columns and/or within a column of data may be identified and utilized as metadata to improve classifications by the neural network.

  • Publication number: 20230047184
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for prediction based machine learning (ML) models, such as to utilize a ML model to generate predictions based on the output of another ML model. Some embodiments are particularly directed to a secondary ML model that revises predictions generated by a primary ML model based on structured input data. In many embodiments, the secondary ML model may utilize predictions from the primary ML model to learn metadata regarding the structured input data. In many such embodiments, the metadata regarding the structured input data may be used to revise the predictions from the primary ML model. For example, the secondary ML model may utilize a structure of the input data combined with patterns in the predictions from the primary ML model to revise the predictions from the primary ML model.

  • Publication number: 20230050601
Abstract: Disclosed are examples for providing functions to receive a media file to be stored in a media repository. In the examples, a location in the media repository may be assigned to the media file. A media file address in a blockchain platform may be assigned to the media file. Metadata including the assigned location in the media repository and the assigned media file address in the blockchain platform may be added to the media file. A media file hash value may be generated by applying a hash function to the media file including the metadata. The media file hash value may be included in a message and uploaded to the assigned media file address in the blockchain platform as a transaction in the blockchain. An indication that the media file is uploaded to the media repository may be delivered to a subscriber device from which the media file was received.

  • Publication number: 20230042639
Abstract: Disclosed are examples for adjusting screen brightness based on screen content being presented on a display screen of a mobile device. The described examples may determine a time at which the screen content is to be evaluated. The screen content is categorized based on the evaluation. A category of the screen content may be input into a machine learning algorithm that may be used to determine whether a screen brightness adjustment is appropriate. If a screen brightness adjustment is appropriate, a degree of the screen brightness adjustment may be determined.

  • Publication number: 20230022004
Abstract: Techniques to dynamically customize a menu system presented to a user by a voice interaction system are provided. Audio data from a user that includes the speech of a user can be received. Features can be extracted from the received audio data, including a vocabulary of the speech of the user. The extracted features can be compared to features associated with a plurality of user group models. A user group model to assign to the user from the plurality of user group models can be determined based on the comparison. The user group models can cluster users together based on estimated characteristics of the users and can specify customized menu systems for each different user group.
