  • Publication number: 20220417376
Abstract: A sorter processes trading cards in an affordable, accurate, and easy-to-use manner. The sorter includes an input and output bin. A transport path moves cards between the bins and has two scan bars, one above and one below the path. The scan bars capture an image of a top and bottom surface of ones of the cards. A controller coordinates movement of the cards along the path and receives the image for processing. Users interact with the controller by way of an interface to influence the processing. The sorter also includes a coil to detect metal foil on the cards. Other embodiments are envisioned.

  • Publication number: 20190266588
Abstract: Systems and techniques facilitate the exchange, generation, and delivery of custom media. Profiles associated with accounts are provided for display in a profile listing by a server device. The server device can update the profile listing to add or remove a profile associated with an account based on instructions received from a first remote device. The profile with input fields can be provided for display to a second remote device based on a selection thereof from the profile listing. An electronic message received from the second remote device via the set of input fields can cause generation of an electronic request, and communication of the electronic message to the first remote device. A media associated with the electronic request can be generated by the first remote device, and communicated to the server device for further communication to the second remote device.

  • Patent number: 10332095
Abstract: In various implementations, a computing device is configured to facilitate the exchange and delivery of custom self-recorded media. In some implementations, service subject profiles are presented for display as an offer for exchanging a self-recorded media produced by the service subject for an electronic payment made by a consumer. Receipt of a selected service subject, payment information, and a consumer-provided expression serves as an acceptance of the offer for exchange, which in turn, notifies the service subject and further provides the service subject an interface for generating the self-recorded media employing their computing device's media generating hardware. Requests for custom self-recorded media and the custom self-recorded media generated as a result of the requests are managed and exchanged by way of the computing device.

  • Patent number: 9159025
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are generally directed toward methods, systems, and computer-readable media for prioritizing bridge repairs. A bridge score is generated that represents various factors such as conditions, load issues, risk of failure, and importance. Repairs to bridges or bridge segments that pose a greater risk may be prioritized before repairs made to bridges posing a lower risk.
