  • Patent number: 11975250
Abstract: Embodiments provide a lacrosse stick having a continuous juncture-handle portion and a flexible head portion molded to the juncture-handle portion, and a method for making the lacrosse stick. The juncture-handle portion may include first and second fork members extending from a throat member in a forward direction, a handle portion extending from the throat member in a rearward direction, and a first tab reinforcing member extending from the handle portion, through the throat member, and to the first fork member, and defining a first tab protruding beyond a distal forward end of the first fork member. The throat member, first and second fork members, and handle portion may be integrally formed of a first composite layup material, with the first tab reinforcing member formed of a stiffer second composite layup material. The head portion may include a first sidewall portion molded over the first tab reinforcing member.

  • Patent number: 11979198
Abstract: A disclosed radio frequency (RF) system, such as a cognitive radar, includes a software defined radio (SDR), an adaptive transmit amplifier, and a host computer. The system performs optimization operations including selecting an initial impedance as a load impedance for the RF device and iteratively performing image completion operations until a convergence criterion is satisfied. The image completion operations may include measuring a performance of the RF device to obtain a measured performance corresponding to the load impedance, storing the measured performance as a point on a measured load-pull contour image, performing a load-pull extrapolation to extrapolate, from the load impedance, a predicted optimal impedance, and saving the predicted impedance as the load impedance for a next iteration of the image completion operations. The convergence criterion may be satisfied when a predicted impedance matches one of the previously measured impedances.

  • Publication number: 20240109010
Abstract: A method of filtration in a process vessel using a treated filter media which has been treated with a conditioner for improved filtration of contaminants is provided. The treated filter media can be used in process vessels for refining, petrochemical, and chemical plants to treat process streams. The conditioner can be the same material as what is expected to be captured during the fouling process. In other words, the conditioner that is added to the treated filter media can be the same material as the contaminant in the fluid stream to be treated. This allows for chemical compatibility with an existing process fluid stream. This also allows for the natural continuation of the filtration process.

  • Publication number: 20240100383
Abstract: An adjustable carriage assembly is configured to be mounted on a frame member of a weight rack and includes a moveable carriage with a plurality of rollers that engage the frame member, as well as a connection structure for connection of an articulating implement. A releasable pin is mounted on the carriage proximate to a rear of the carriage and has an arm configured for engagement to move the releasable pin. The releasable pin is moveable by axial translation between a locked position and an unlocked position to selectively engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position or permit movement of the carriage. A removable pin may be removably received through a pin hole in the carriage to extend through the passage in a direction perpendicular to a direction of axial translation of the releasable pin, to engage the frame member to prevent movement of the carriage.

  • Patent number: 11936778
Abstract: A Data Security Management System using a communications interface configured to receive and transmit one or more portions of Post Quantum Resistant Encrypted data within a network comprising a plurality of endpoints. Using End-to-End (E2E) Post Quantum Resistant encryption techniques to protect the data, the Data Security Management System provides the flexibility for multiple data schemes in a distributive environment such as, but not limited to, Hyperledger. The system uses a Policy Manager to perform the base configuration of the session to be transmitted or received in an encrypted state. This encrypted state comprises Post Quantum Cryptographic algorithm in use for that session, inclusive with associated keys or digital signatures. The Policy Manager is further configured to verify an identity of endpoint by a multifactor cryptographic authentication mechanism or a biometric authentication mechanism to validate a connection to or from an endpoint.

  • Patent number: 11921677
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to sharing namespaces across file system clusters. A file in a spoke file system may be determined based on a command provided to the spoke file system such that the file may be associated with an inode mask. Data blocks associated with the file may be determined based on the command and the inode mask such that the data blocks may be absent from the spoke file system. Requests for leases may be generated based on the absent data blocks such that each lease request corresponds to a portion of the absent data blocks Employing the leases provided by a hub file system to: copy the absent data blocks from the hub file system where each portion of absent data blocks may be associated with a lease; updating the inode mask to include the leases and each copied portion of absent blocks.

  • Patent number: 11648447
Abstract: Embodiments provide a lacrosse head having a pocket stringing system that includes attachment members that allow for rapid, direct attachment of a pocket to the head. A lacrosse head may include cleats protruding from the sidewalls at a rearward portion of the pocket area nearest the juncture, sidewall hooks protruding from the sidewalls at a forward portion of the pocket area forward of the rearward portion, and scoop hooks protruding in the forward direction from the front face of the scoop. Each cleat may have a rearwardly-projecting arm and a forwardly-projecting arm. Each sidewall hook may have a rearwardly-projecting arm. A first scoop hook may tension a pocket toward a first sidewall hook on a first sidewall, and a second scoop hook may tension the pocket toward a second sidewall hook on a second sidewall, so as to form a ball channel in the pocket.

  • Patent number: 11351428
Abstract: Embodiments provide a lacrosse head with an enhanced pocket channel and sweet spot. The head includes first and second tabs protruding rearwardly from the rearward face of the transverse wall, with the transverse wall defining at least one inner pocket member opening disposed between first and second outer pocket member openings on the respective tabs. A first rearwardmost pocket-supporting edge of the first tab, a second rearwardmost pocket-supporting edge of the at least one inner pocket member opening, and a third rearwardmost pocket-supporting edge of the second tab may lie on an arc shape that is more curved than the curved shape of the transverse wall, to provide a cylindrically-shaped pocket channel. Each sidewall may have a rearward lower edge portion that extends generally parallel to the horizontal centerline and an intermediate lower edge portion that rapidly descends to a lowest point, to enhance the sweet spot of the head.
