Abstract: An upconversion system, including: a glow discharge device (GDD) configured to detect signal source radiation, wherein the signal source radiation is at least one of millimeter wave (MMW) radiation and Terahertz (THz) radiation; and a photodetector configured to measure intensity changes in visible light emitted by said GDD as a result of absorption of the signal source radiation. The upconversion system optionally includes a processor operatively coupled to the photodetector. The processor is configured to analyze imagery captured by the photodetector, and to compute at least one parameter of the signal source radiation based on the imagery.

Abstract: A system and method for providing recording services for communications to or from at least one Enterprise Mobile Device (EMD), the system including an Enterprise Compliance Server (ECS) and an Enterprise Recording System (ERS). The ECS receives a Enterprise Mobile Device (EMD) communication request through a signaling channel from a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) upon an initiation of an EMD communication. The ECS then authenticates the EMD communication request, receiving an EMD communication. The ECS then sends the EMD communication to the ERS and the ERS is records the communication. If the communication is a voice call the ECS then conferences the call to an Enterprise Customer (EC).

Abstract: A digital telephony system which provides telephone services to a plurality of subscribers. The system includes a private branch exchange (PBX) which provides multiple analog telephone lines and includes an interface to a data link. The multi-user system which provides telephone services to subscribers not associated with the PBX, is connected to the PBX by the analog telephone lines. A subscriber accesses the multi-user system by initiating a connection to the multi-user system such as a telephone connection or a message over a cellular network. The multi-user system receives information regarding the telephone connection over the data link thereby generating a call event; and triggers an action based on the information received by synchronizing one of the analog lines to the call event. Preferably the action includes intercepting, or call-back actions, which provide the services to the external subscribers using functionality available in the PBX.
