The apparatus comprises an electrical contactor including a set of main terminals per phase and an auxiliary switch including a set of auxiliary terminals per phase. Each set of the auxiliary terminals is electrically connected to a respective set of the main terminals via a resistance wire, such that each set of the auxiliary terminals is electrically connected in parallel with each respective set of the main terminals. Each resistance wire includes a first terminal at a first end configured to connect to one of the set of auxiliary terminals, and a second terminal at a second end configured to connect to a respective one of the set of main terminals. The second terminal of the resistance wire comprises a retention hook configured to hook onto the respective main terminal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a method for utilizing a control module as an interfaced control of a dually configured AC/DC control coil comprising monitoring a coil voltage of the control coil, determining if the coil voltage is greater than a predetermined dropout voltage, and determining if the coil voltage is greater than a predetermined pickup voltage. Further, a generated astable pulse is reset in the event that the coil voltage is determined to be less than the predetermined dropout voltage.

Abstract: A system, method, and related computer program for asynchronous transactions action buttons over communication mediums. The present invention allows users to maintain control over an instant message after it is sent. More specifically, a sender of an instant message can revoke a sent instant message, or amend a sent instant message. Further, a receiver of an instant message can respond directly to the instant message and also enjoys the continued control over the sent response instant message. In the present invention, display devices used for sending and receiving said instant messages include cellular telephones, PDAs, and laptop computers.

Abstract: A system that will enable the sender of the E-mail to control the redistribution of the message tasks that are to be redistributed by the receiver of the E-mail. More particularly, the present invention comprises enabling the sender of E-mail to specify conditions for the redistribution of an E-mail message sent to a receiving display terminal in combination with an implementation enabling this sender to track the redistribution of the sent E-mail message and apparatus enabling the sender to change the redistribution of the E-mail message. According to the invention, initially, there is an implementation enabling a user at the terminal receiving the sent E-mail message to redistribute the sent E-mail message subject to the conditions specified by the sender. The sent E-mail message specifies tasks divided out of the sent E-mail message to be assigned, respectively, to subsequent receivers of the redistribution messages by such messages.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media are disclosed for interaction between a client device having a common interface and a server device having an interface. One example embodiment includes the client device receiving user interface descriptions, in the form of xml files, from the server device, wherein the user interface descriptions comprise commands and options for possible actions on the interface of the server device. Further, the example embodiment includes mapping of the commands and options to pre-configured inputs on the common interface, thereby producing mapped inputs. Further still, the example embodiment includes transmitting a selected one of the mapped inputs from the client device to the server device for the server device to execute the selected one of the mapped inputs, that is, the underlying command or option associated with the mapped input.

Abstract: Instead of alphanumeric passwords, the entry of answers to questions that have obscure answers known only to the user is solicited. However, it is recognized that even items of obscure information could be found out by identity thieves. Therefore, many of such questions are set up, and then one or more of such questions are randomly selected to prompt the user seeking entry. This should thwart the hacker who might have come upon any one of such items of obscure information. The stored user database of questions and answers for protecting access to a secured entity may be carried on a card, such as a smart card. This portable card would include means for storing data representative of a plurality of questions requiring obscure answers known only to the user of the card.

Abstract: The creator or author of the Web document or page at the Web site source of the page is enabled to prioritize all of the hyperlinks to other Web documents embedded in the Web page in order to optimize the needs, such as the business needs of the host. The prioritization is applied in the determination of the order in which the Web documents linked to the activated embedded hyperlinks in the Web document are to be accessed. The system is implemented through the inclusion of a hypertext markup language tag associated with each of the prioritized hyperlinks indicative of the priority level of the associated hyperlink. The implementation for designating a priority level for each of the hyperlinks may be enabled to change any previously designated priority levels for said hyperlinks. Such changes in any previously designated priority levels could be made applicable to the priority levels in previously distributed copies of said Web document.
