  • Patent number: 4669617
Abstract: In a pen holder device, a pen holder body (3) contained in a support body (2) is pivotable between an operational position, which is slightly inclined from the perpendicular, and a generally horizontal readiness position, wherein an acute angle exists between the operational position and the readiness position. Bearing shoulders (15) provided on opposite sides of the pen holder body (3) rest with little friction upon support surfaces (12) having evenly curved surface areas. The center of gravity (21) of the pen holder body (3) alone is below the bearing shoulders (15) and the common center of gravity (20) of the pen holder body (3) and a writing instrument (4) inserted in it is above the bearing shoulders (15).

  • Patent number: 4558966
Abstract: A writing instrument having a closure cap assembly (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) which can be placed in a sealing manner on the writing tip (20), whereby a positive engagement with an indentation in the writing tip is established via an elastically deformable finger (8), when the closure cap is in place on the writing tip. On the inner face of the arm (8), oriented toward the writing tip (20), at least one cam face (13) is located in a chord plane of the circle forming the closure cap opening. Whereupon a twisting of the entire mounted closure cap assembly (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) brings the cam face (13) into engagement with a correspondingly formed wedge face (27) of the writing tip (20), so that the arm (8) is pivoted radially outward, and the closure cap can be removed.

  • Patent number: 4548325
Abstract: A stand for receiving a tubular writing pen which comprises an insertion opening, a sealing element of elastically deformable material disposed below the insertion opening and adapted to come into a sealing engagement contact with the free end of the writing tube of an inserted tubular writing pen. The sealing element (4) has a bearing area for contact with a writing tube (12) that is convex curved in the direction toward said insertion opening of the stand (1, 2) and is deformable away from said insertion opening by contact with the tube. The stand further is characterized by an elastically deformable restraining element (5) which is provided between said sealing element (4) and said insertion opening, and adapted to engage against an inserted tubular writing pen (10, 11, 12).
