  • Publication number: 20170241413
Abstract: A controller of an electromagnetically driven reciprocating pump influences velocity of the magnetic armature by switching voltage applied to the electromagnet depending on the position of the magnetic armature, its position determined from state variables of the electromagnet. A processor calculates electrical resistance of the magnetic coil from the voltage and current measured by the measuring device, and calculates the temporal change of the linked magnetic flux in the electromagnet from the electrical voltage, the current and the resistance of the magnetic coil, and calculates the linked magnetic flux in the electromagnet from an earlier magnetic flux and from the temporal change, and determines the position of the magnetic armature from the linked magnetic flux in the electromagnet and the electrical current through the magnetic coil, and switches the voltage at the magnetic coil by the switching device depending on the position of the magnetic armature.

  • Patent number: 9464628
Abstract: The invention relates to a pump for pumping a fluid, including an inlet, an outlet, and a pumping chamber, wherein a valve is arranged between the inlet and the pumping chamber or between the pumping chamber and the outlet. The valve includes a valve body having a valve seat pointing in the direction of the outlet, and a valve member that interacts with the valve seat, wherein the valve member is loaded under pre-loading against the valve seat into a closed position of the valve and allows fluid to pass through in a pumping direction due to the valve member lifting off against the pre-load, wherein the valve body is accommodated in a receptacle of a pump part. A pump for which the development of noises and vibrations is reduced in that the valve body can move axially relative to the receptacle that accommodates the valve body.

  • Patent number: 9175167
Abstract: A process for producing a porous ceramic body comprises a) mixing a coated porogen with a silicate or a oxide ceramic precursor, wherein the porogen is decomposable to gaseous decomposition products and optionally solid products upon heating, and is coated with a coating agent; b) forming a green body from the mixture obtained in step (a); and c) firing the green body obtained in step (b) to obtain the ceramic body, whereby the porogen decomposes to form pores within the ceramic body and the coating agent is deposited at the inner surface of the pores. The porogen is coated with a coating agent which, upon firing, is deposited at the inner surface of the ceramic pores, so that porous ceramics having decreased weight and improved porosity are obtained, while maintaining at the same time good mechanical strength. A green body and a porous ceramic body obtainable with the above-mentioned process are described too.
