Patent number: 8246089Abstract: The invention relates to a lock, in particular for a household appliance such as a tumble drier, a washing machine, a dishwasher or the like, having a movable retaining element, which is configured in particular in the manner of a slide. The retaining element interacts with a closure hook located on a closure element, such as a door, a cover, a flap or the like of the household appliance, which can be moved between an open and a closed state. The closure hook, in the closed state of the closure element, engages into the retaining element. Here, the closure hook is held by the retaining element in contact against a blocking face in such a way that a movement of the closure element into the open state is blocked. The blocking face is designed so as to be pivotable in the manner of a positive opener.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2007Date of Patent: August 21, 2012Assignee: Marquardt GmbHInventors: Heinrich Mueller, Axel Rastemborski, Tobias Fischinger, Frank Rottler

Patent number: 7775565Abstract: A closing mechanism for a movable closing element, preferably for a door, a cover or a flap on a household appliance, such as a dishwasher, a washing machine, or a refrigerator, the mechanism comprises a carriage that can be displaced between a locking position and an unlocking position and is loaded by a spring force in the direction of the locking position. The carriage carries a closing hook that can be engaged with the closing element for the closing action and/or disengaged therefrom for the opening action. A rotary latch co-operates with the closing element during the closing action. As a result of this co-operation, the rotary latch acts on the carriage in such a way that the carriage is displaced into the locking position during the closing of the closing element by the force of the spring.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2007Date of Patent: August 17, 2010Assignee: Marquardt GmbHInventors: Michael Hartmann, Dieter Hotz, Cengiz Kuecuek, Heinrich Mueller, Axel Rastemborski, Bernd Schessl, Erich Schmid, Martin Stickel

Patent number: 7485824Abstract: An electrical switch, in the form of a short-stroke key is provided, including a housing having a base and a cover fixed to the base. A contact system is located in the housing, and an actuating member acts on the contact system in a switching manner. The base has a cutout in the underside that is positioned remote from the cover. The cover at least partially covers the base on the upper side and on the side face of the base, and an attachment on the cover engages the cutout in a flange manner such that the attachment is accommodated in the base and is at the most flush with the underside of the base.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2006Date of Patent: February 3, 2009Assignees: Marquardt GmbH, DaimlerChrysler AGInventors: Axel Rastemborski, Bernd Hellbeck

Patent number: 6399908Abstract: The invention relates to an electric switch (1) with a contact system (9) which consists of at least one fixed contact (10, 11) and of a movable contact tongue (12). A movable actuating member (5) is operatively connected to the contact tongue (12) for changing over the contact system (9). The contact tongue (12) is arranged on a bearing (18) designed in the manner of a knife-edge bearing. The switch point of the contact system (9) is adjustable by the shift of part of the contact system (9) in the direction of movement (20, 20′) of the actuating member (5), in that the bearing (18) and/or the fixed contact (10, 11) and/or the contact tongue (12) is capable of being set in the direction of movement (20, 20′) of the actuating member (5). In order to adjust the switch point of the contact system (9), part of the actuating member (5) may also be capable of being set in the direction of movement (20, 20′) of said actuating member (5).Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 1999Date of Patent: June 4, 2002Assignee: Marquardt GmbHInventors: Heinrich Mueller, Axel Rastemborski
