Patent number: 10880884Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for space, frequency and time domain coexistence of RF signals. In one example, among others, a communication device includes a coexistence manager capable of monitoring operating conditions of a cellular modem and a coexistence assistant capable of monitoring operating conditions of a wireless connectivity unit. The coexistence manager is capable of modifying operation of the modem and/or unit based on an operating condition change. In another example, a method includes detecting a change in antenna isolation and/or operating temperature of a FE filter, determining filtering characteristics of the FE filter based at least in part upon the change, and modifying communications of coexisting communication protocols based at least in part upon the filtering characteristics. In another example, a TX/RX configuration for coexisting communication protocols is determined and communications in a protocol is modified based at least in part upon the TX/RX configuration.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2017Date of Patent: December 29, 2020Assignee: AVAGO TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL SALES PTE. Patent number: 7210066Abstract: A method for analyzing a test coverage of a software application specification by a test suite is provided. The method includes reading an assertion document for a specification. The assertion document has a corresponding tagged assertion for each assertion in the specification. Each tagged assertion is defined in a markup language. The method also includes reading a static file for defining tests of the test suite. The static file is defined in the markup language. The test suite is divided into tests and each test is divided into test cases. The static file is configured to include an entry for each test case and each entry is configured to include tagged assertions tested by the test case. Also included in the method is correlating each of the tagged assertions in the assertion document with the test cases in the static file so as to determine test coverage of the specification.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2002Date of Patent: April 24, 2007Assignee: Sun Microsystems, Inc.Inventors: Ramesh Babu Mandava, Jean-Francois Arcand

Publication number: 20040030789Abstract: Methods and systems consistent with the present invention provide for testing a protocol for transmitting data between a first device and a second device. The first device sends a set of data to both a data controller and the second device. The data controller receives the set of data sent by the first device. The second device also receives the set of data sent by the first device. The second device then sends the data received from the first device to the data controller. The data controller sends the set of data received from the first device to a data comparator. The data controller then sends the set of data received from the second device to the data comparator.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 6, 2002Publication date: February 12, 2004Applicant: Sun Microsystems, Inc..Inventors: Arun P. Publication number: 20030192009Abstract: A method for tracking assertions in an application is provided. The method includes providing a specification for the application, identifying each assertion in each chapter of the specification, and generating a markup language document. The specification is divided into chapters, which define functional aspects of the application. The markup language document has an associated tagged entry for each of the identified assertions. Each tagged entry has an identifier tag which correlates the tagged entry to a specific chapter of the specification.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 4, 2002Publication date: October 9, 2003Applicant: Sun Microsystems, Inc.Inventors: Jean-Francois Arcand, Ramesh Babu Mandava

Patent number: 6135651Abstract: A software patch method and apparatus using a content addressable memory (CAM) to produce a code change enable signal when a program memory address matches a patch memory address, to cause program execution of modem operation to be diverted to the patch code when an address comparison hit is achieved. The patching apparatus includes a program memory for applying program instructions onto a data bus for execution, unless an address comparison of a program address and a patch address causes application of a substitute address onto the data bus.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 1997Date of Patent: October 24, 2000Assignee: Cirrus Logic, Inc.Inventors: Karl Thomas Leinfelder, Wesley Hamilton Smith, Sanjay Gupta, Navin Jaffer, Shahin Hedayat, Babu Mandava

Patent number: 5889856Abstract: An integrated line-card terminates an asymmetric digital-subscriber line (ADSL) copper-pair at a single point in a central office. The line card contains analog line circuitry such as a ring generator, off-hook detector, D.C. current feed, and a single analog-digital (A/D) converter. The phone line carries a composite signal of both the high-frequency ADSL data and the low-frequency voice or plain-old-telephone-service (POTS) signal. Instead of using an analog frequency-splitter with bulky, expensive inductor coils, a digital splitter is used. A digital-signal processor (DSP) can be used to perform the digital splitting of ADSL and POTS. The waveforms from the analog phone line are first converted to digital values by the A/D converter, and then a digital splitter separates the low-frequency POTS from the high-frequency ADSL.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 1997Date of Patent: March 30, 1999Assignee: Centillium Technology Corp.Inventors: Anthony J.
