Abstract: A broadcast headend includes an upstream network circuit, an upstream signal processing circuit, and a content processing circuit. The upstream network circuit is configured to communicate with a financial institution computing system over an internet network. The upstream signal processing circuit is configured to broadcast a video content signal over a broadcast medium to a downstream device. The content processing circuit is configured to receive a content stream including a unique property code associated with a vendor; while the video content signal is being broadcast, parse the unique property code associated with the vendor from the content stream; and send a bill pay request to the financial institution computing system to effect a payment to the vendor.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating bill pay requests via an internet-enabled video displaying device are described. The system includes one or more processors and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to maintain a database that includes account information for at least one customer of a financial institution, maintain a bill pay database that includes at least one registered biller, provide a bill pay feature by which a customer can cause a payment to be issued to a registered biller, receive a bill pay request to a vendor corresponding to a segment of broadcast video content, and complete a bill pay request by causing funds from the customer's account to be sent to the vendor.

A user information system (UIS) information circuit and an associated user information database populates an account with user information received from at least one of the user and a plurality of entities. A user information request relating to a transaction is received from an entity computing system associated with an entity over a network via a network interface circuit. A security circuit sends an alert comprising an approval request containing an identification of user information requested in the user information request to a user computing device associated with the user over the network. The security circuit receives an approval of the approval request from the user computing device, and the UIS information circuit provides the approved information to the entity to complete the transaction.

Abstract: A mobile wallet system to users is described. The mobile wallet system allows users to provide payments to merchants via the mobile wallet system. Users' mobile wallets are linked to payment forms associated with the users (e.g., bank accounts, credit cards, gift cards, etc.). Additionally, the mobile wallet system allows a first user to request funding from or provide funding to a second user for certain transactions. To pay for a good or service provided by a merchant, a user selects a form of payment, which may be another user, and provides a code to the merchant, which is used by a merchant computing system to initiate payment from the user to the merchant via the financial institution computing system.

The method includes receiving, by a computing system from a first user device, a request to fund a purchase of a first user from the merchant with funds from a second user; transmitting, by the computing system, a message including the request to fund the purchase of the first user to a second user device associated with the second user; transmitting, by the computing system, updated payment information to the first user device, the updated payment information including a payment code; receiving, by the computing system, a transaction request from the merchant, the transaction request including the payment code; and transmitting, by the computing system, an approval message to the merchant.
