Abstract: A method and system is provided for recruitment and management of casual personnel via a telecommunications network. One or more casual employees register a job seeker profile including details of the casual employee's availability in a database. A prospective employer nominates search criteria including a date and/or time when the casual employee is required to work for interrogation of the database. A list of casual employees meeting the employer nominated search criteria is generated. The prospective employer selects one or more casual employees form the list and initiates contact with selected casual employees using an instant communication pathway. Methods and systems are also provided for monitoring the time worked by a casual employee for an employer.

Abstract: A drain guard for a sink equipped with a garbage disposal having a flange attached to a surface of such sink and forming a sink drain opening includes a generally round and flat body member, a T-shaped grip attached to a top surface of the body member and a generally flat member extending outwardly and in a generally vertical direction from a bottom surface of the body member and which is capable of scraping solids from at least one of eating wear and such sink surface.

Abstract: A highly filled flame retardant thermoplastic composition of at least one thermoplastic resin, at least about 20 percent by weight of an inorganic filler, and effective flame retarding amount of a metal acid pyrophosphate, and optionally, an impact modifier, an anti-drip agent and/or a second flame retardant.
