Abstract: A file rack has been devised for placement on a table or other level surface to support flat materials, such as, file folders in a generally upright position but in staggered relation so as to be readily identifiable, the file rack consisting of an elongated bed having an end wall across one end and spaced base support panels either at longitudinally spaced intervals along and beneath the bed or extending downwardly from opposite sidewalls in a lengthwise direction.
