  • Patent number: 11217029
Abstract: A view can be presented with an augmented reality (AR) view of the space. The AR view can be augmented with imagery to indicate to the viewer environmental conditions that may not otherwise be known to the viewer. The viewer can also initiate alterations to the environment based on the information and recommendations presented in the AR view. Current conditions, past trends, and forecasted future trends can be included in the creation of the AR displays.

  • Patent number: 11212591
Abstract: Concepts and technologies for video alternate network access points and receivers that enable wireless delivery of video content to multiple customer premises over a service area are provided herein. In an embodiment, a system includes a satellite dish receiver that is configured to receive a satellite video feed, and a video alternate network access point that is communicatively coupled to the satellite dish receiver. The video alternate network access point can perform operations that ingest the satellite video feed directly from the satellite dish receiver. The operations can activate a microcell transceiver embedded within the video alternate network access point, and identify a multicast-broadcast single-frequency network channel. The operations can then transmit, to a video alternate network receiver device from the microcell transceiver, the satellite video feed over at least the multicast-broadcast single-frequency network channel.

  • Patent number: 11196815
Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for connection management service. A server computer can detect a request to create a connection between a first resource and a second resource. The first resource can be in a proximity of a computing device and the second resource may not be in a proximity of the computing device. The request can be triggered by a requestor. Authentication of the requestor can be triggered, and identification of the first resource can be obtained. The identification of the first resource can be obtained from the computing device. Connection information for the connection between the first resource and the second resource can be obtained and creation of the connection using the connection information can be triggered.

  • Publication number: 20210327573
Abstract: This disclosure describes a solution to enable more useful and responsive methods for a person's wishes for resuscitation actions to be canceled or discontinued in the event of a medical event. In this solution, a person can record their do not resuscitate (DNR) wishes with more specificity. For instance, they can specify conditions for treatment or non-treatment in the event of a medical emergency that would otherwise call for live-saving procedures or the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) device. Conditional DNR data can be recorded in an electronic device (e.g., emergency pendant or smart watch, or in an electronic device) implanted within or on the person's body. This data can also be stored in a database accessible via a network.

The viewer can also initiate alterations to the environment based on the information and recommendations presented in the AR view. Current conditions, past trends, and forecasted future trends can be included in the creation of the AR displays. For example, the AR system can capture, archive, and predict audio to accompany an augmented reality or virtual reality experience. The audio presented with the experience can be from a real-time capture, an audio file captured in the past, and/or a simulated audio file representing an estimated past or future environment.

  • Publication number: 20210326946
Abstract: This disclosure describes a solution to assign values to personal objects. These values can be calculated based on a number of criteria and stored for the objects. Future values can also be projected. Types of value can include monetary, sentimental, and donation value. Personal objects, such as objects within the inventory of a house, apartment, or other dwelling, can be tagged using a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag or other tag that has at least a memory store, an antenna for communication within a near-field range, and optionally, a power supply, such as a battery. Such a tag can be applied to, or otherwise associated with, a personal object, such as a chair, a piece of artwork, or any other tangible object. The memory can be used to contain data associated with the object, which can be accessed via an RFID reader, which can be used to collect objects into an object inventory.

  • Publication number: 20210326947
Abstract: This disclosure comprises a solution that can sort objects based on values under various circumstances for the purpose of grouping objects and determining recommended placement or disposition of the objects. An object can be assigned a monetary value, a sentimental value, and a practical value. The practical value can be entered individually for the object via the web or virtual assistant access to the object inventory. The practical value can also be estimated via sensors on or proximate to the object that can sense activity related to the object.

  • Publication number: 20210327571
Abstract: A viewer can be presented with an augmented reality (AR) view relative to a person to determine a well-being of the person. The disclosed system can enable the well-being of a person or animal to be predicted and displayed via augmented reality. In addition, the system can ensure privacy when only certain users should be permitted to view the AR-displayed information. For example, bone conduction technology can be utilized to ensure that the correct person can view personal data of the person that is being assessed.

  • Publication number: 20210327459
Abstract: This disclosure describes a solution to identify that a meaningful event has occurred in a person's life. Once identified, data and content related to the event can be collected and stored in a database. This data and content can be used to offer future virtual reality (VR) experiences and content. A person can be equipped with a smart device such as a smartphone, smart watch, or other wearable that can further be equipped with a tracking app that collects data from these devices and from other sources, for instance, over the internet. The tracking app can continuously collect such data and use various algorithms to make a determination as to whether the person is experiencing a meaningful life event.

  • Publication number: 20210326812
Abstract: This disclosure describes a solution to enable a real estate property to act as an independent entity. As such, it can detect needs for repairs and improvements, market itself, and earn revenue. The property can work independently or in concert with the owner and other parties in achieving these tasks. A real estate property can benefit from the use of a property management server that can be delegated by the owner of the property to manage the property either independently or in concert with the owner. This server can access and maintain data associated with assets of the property.

  • Publication number: 20210314436
Abstract: A system can be operable to receive a call from a communication device and identify whether the call is a spoofed based on, for example, whether a caller party user equipment associated with a caller identification number (caller ID number) is in an “idle” status, whether there are inconsistencies in the geographic location associated with a calling party's network and the geographic location determined to be associated with the caller ID number presented, and whether the phone number presented as the caller ID number is registered with a calling party's network.

  • Publication number: 20210251034
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example determining that a first connection between a first device and a wireless access point is not functional, wherein a non-functional connection between the first device and a backhaul network causes the first connection between the first device and the wireless access point to become not functional. Information is received from a second device via a second connection, wherein the second connection includes a wireless connection via a dedicated channel of a radio access network of the second connection. The dedicated channel will not be released while providing service via the second connection, the information being provided to the first device via a wireless channel. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11026285
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes determining, by an access point, that a first connection between a first device and the access point is not functional. A non-functional connection between the first device and a backhaul network causes the first connection between the first device and the access point to become not functional. The method also includes selecting, by the access point, a second device operable to provide backhaul to the access point. The method also includes establishing, by the access point, a second connection between the second device and the access point and receiving, by the access point, information from the second device via the second connection. The second connection is a wireless connection. The method further includes communicating, by the access point, the information to the first device.

  • Patent number: 11025604
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing access to a service are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one processor, and memory including machine readable instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations including, in response to receipt of a first network communication, retrieve a first list identifying multicast group memberships of a device existing at a first time, the first list retrieved from a storage device based on an identifier in the first network communication, the first network communication including a second list identifying multicast group memberships of the device existing at a second time later than the first time. The device is authenticated based on a comparison of the first list to the second list. A second network communication is transmitted indicating the device has been authenticated in response to the authentication.
