  • Publication number: 20240101503
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of diverse known and novel cannabinoids 5, which include cannabigerol (CBG, 1), cannabigerolic acid (CBGA, 2), cannabigerovarin (CBGV, 3), cannabigerovarinic acid (CBGVA, 4) and other naturally occurring monocyclic cannabinoids and other analogues from simple inexpensive starting materials using a cascade sequence of allylic rearrangement and aromatization. Novel cannabinoids of series 5 are also claimed as part of the invention. These synthesized cannabinoids, unlike the minor cannabinoids isolated from Cannabis saliva or synthesized from the condensation reactions such as the reactions of substituted resorcinols with monoterpenes, are much easier to obtain at high purity levels. In particular, these cannabinoids, including but not limited to cannabigerol (CBG, 1), cannabigerolic acid (CBGA, 2), cannabigerovarin (CBGV, 3) and cannabigerovarinic acid (CBGVA, 4) are obtained without contamination with impurities with variation in RA and RB (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20070272421
Abstract: A hitch and adapter assembly for connecting an implement to the front end of vehicles such as all terrain vehicle providing a rigid connection with limited motion for reduced vibration operation. The hitch has two spaced apart sockets on a rigid frame that pivotally connects to the vehicle providing a rigid extension thereof. The sockets receive and cooperatively engage respective pins on the implement providing a quick connection. An electrically powered hydraulic cylinder is connected at one end to the frame and the other end connects to the vehicle by a coupler that slip fits into a socket therefore on the vehicle. The frame pivotally connects to the vehicle at two spaced apart positions. There is a coarse and fine adjustment for varying the height and tilt positions of the implement.

  • Publication number: 20050187439
Abstract: Sampling is controlled to enhance analyte concentration estimation derived from noninvasive sampling. Means of assuring that the same tissue sample volume is repeatably sampled are presented, thus minimizing sampling errors due to mechanical tissue distortion, specular reflectance, and probe placement. In a first embodiment of the invention, sampling is controlled using automated delivery of a coupling fluid to a region between a tip of a sample probe and a tissue measurement site in a manner requiring minimal user interaction. In a second embodiment of the invention, sampling is controlled by controlling temperature variations, preferably with a coupling fluid, at a region about the tip of a sample probe and a sample site. In a third embodiment, sampling is procedurally controlled via timing and location of coupling fluid delivery to a sample site.

  • Patent number: 3947144
Abstract: An articulated swivelling boom combination adapted to carry on one of its extremities a device, such as a camera, which it is desired to be able to move about smoothly in any direction of 360.degree. in a given plane within a predetermined area. The combination comprises an elongated rigid member mounted intermediate its ends for swivelling about a vertical axis in a predetermined arc of rotation with a secondary rigid element similarly swivellingly mounted in the vicinity of each of the ends of the rigid member. The device is mounted on the free end of one of the secondary rigid elements and counterweighting is provided on the free end of the other of the two secondary rigid elements. The two secondary rigid elements may be oppositely directed and their swivelling mounts interlocked by a gear and belt arrangement. Thereby, any movement of the device on the free end of its secondary rigid element produces a compensating counterweighted movement of the other element.
