  • Publication number: 20240162464
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for providing a variable amount of electrical power according to varying electrical demands, wherein a fuel cell system varies the amount of hydrogen gas that is generated in order to vary the amount of electricity that is generated, the system modifying the size and surface area of aluminum particles that are inserted into the reaction vessel, the system using a pressure control system to regulate the pressure of hydrogen gas within the reaction vessel, the system regulating the transfer rate of hydrogen, and the system regulating the volume of hydrogen gas that is transferred to a hydrogen conversion system to thereby vary the amount of electricity that is generated by the fuel cell system.

  • Patent number: 9738225
Abstract: A display system mounted on one or more sides of a public transportation vehicle (e.g., a bus). The display system is interfaced with a portable computing device (e.g., a personal data assistant), where the portable computing device provides updated messages to be displayed on a display panel. The display system includes at least one display panel mounted on one side of a bus, facing outwards such that the display panels may be readily seen when the bus goes around. The display panel is mainly for displaying messages provided by the portable computing device but also for displaying default messages in a local storage device.

  • Publication number: 20080236007
Abstract: Techniques for displaying messages on top of a vehicle are disclosed. Although useful in many other areas, the techniques are particularly suitable for taxicab. According to one aspect of these techniques, a display unit is mounted on top of a vehicle. The display unit includes at least two display panels facing outward respectively. The display unit is controlled by a computing device to display various messages. In one embodiment, the vehicle is provided a Global Positioning System (GPS) that determines a location of the vehicle. Coupled to the GPS, the computing device sends the location information of the vehicle to a base station and receives returned information from the base station in accordance with the location information. The returned information, at least some of which are location based, is locally processed for suitable messages on the display panels. In another aspect, illumination of the display messages varies by a light sensor in response to intensity of ambient lights.
