Piping can be connected to the fluid line connections to allow flow through the filters in series or parallel flow.

    Abstract: A removable filter cartridge includes a filter housing containing a filter for filtering liquid and a sealing valve assembly coupled to the filter housing and for removably coupling the filter cartridge to a filter head. The sealing valve assembly include an inlet passageway and an outlet passageway. The sealing valve also including an inlet sealing valve that blocks the inlet passageway and an outlet sealing valve that blocks the outlet passageway while the filter cartridge is uncoupled from the filter head. A method of retrofitting a filter housing includes removing the filter housing from a filter head, coupling a sealing valve assembly to the removable filter to form a removable filter cartridge, and coupling the removable filter cartridge to the filter head.

    Abstract: A can crusher for compacting cans, such as aluminum soft drink cans, into a substantially flat configuration for storage, recycling or disposal. The can crusher includes a base with opposing flanges and a handle which rotates about the flanges. The handle includes an extending crimping member which compresses the center of the can downwardly, and also forces the ends of the can inwardly. The handle also includes a flat surface which then flattens and rotates the ends of the can towards a mid-portion of the can into a substantially flat configuration. The first action of the extending crimping member against the can and the second action of the flat surface against the can crush the can into a substantially flat can which is environmentally and ecologically useful in recycling processes. The crushed can consumes less space in recycling operations or disposal, and environmentally and ecologically presents itself in a more pleasing manner for recycling or disposal.

    Abstract: A sealable contamination proof container package bottom and top for storing and transporting a plurality of silicon wafers in a wafer carrier. The package bottom includes four sides, a continuous vertical surface for tape sealing surrounding the four sides, a lip positioned on a vertical edge, opposing hook latches on opposing sides, opposing hand grip recesses on the opposing sides and a raised bottom surface for package stacking. The package top includes four sides, a continuous vertical surface for tape sealing surrounding the four sides, a lip positioned on the vertical surface, opposing hook catches on the opposing side, a top surface with a raised stacking surface, a plurality of transparent inspection windows on the top surface, and two rows of wafer springs positioned on the underside of the top surface. The package top and bottom halves provide that a carrier mates between the package top and package bottom with the wafers in the carrier.
