  • Publication number: 20220260193
Abstract: A conduit locking device includes a housing having a first end, a second end, and a sidewall disposed between the first end and the second end. The conduit locking device may further include a slide engaged with the sidewall of the housing, the slide including an extension arm and an end portion structurally configured to engage with an inner wall of a conduit. The slide may be extendable via the extension arm from a first position substantially adjacent to the sidewall of the housing to a second position disposed away from the sidewall of the housing, where, when in the second position, the slide is configured to retain the conduit locking device at a fixed position within the conduit through the engagement of the end portion with the inner wall of the conduit.

  • Patent number: 8182891
Abstract: A resealable label flap is positionable to cover an opening in a package containing removable articles. The label flap includes a base layer extending between a first and a second end. The base layer includes a first adhesive on a bottom face surface and permits repeated application and separation of the base layer relative to the package. The base layer has a starting tab to permit removal of the base layer from the package. A top layer includes a second adhesive on a bottom face surface that fixes the top layer to a top face surface of the base layer. The base layer and the first adhesive are formed with a slit that defines a hinge for enhancing separation of the base and top layers from the package upon manipulation of the starting tab.

  • Publication number: 20090273179
Abstract: A resealable label flap has multiple separable layers positionable to cover an opening in a package containing removable articles. The label flap includes a base layer extending between a first end and a second end. The base layer includes a first adhesive that permits repeated application and separation of the base layer from the package. The base layer has a starting tab devoid of the first adhesive contained on the second end. A top layer is separably attached to the base layer. A top layer includes a second adhesive that permits repeated application and separation of the top layer from the release coating of the base layer. The top layer and the second adhesive have at least one access slit overlying the starting tab for facilitating separation of the top layer from the base layer when the base layer has been separated from the package. The base layer and the top layer are printed with text and/or graphics to supplement information printed elsewhere on the package.

  • Patent number: 6589622
Abstract: A resealable label flap including a tamper indicating tab that remains in contact with the package body to indicate that the label flap has been removed from the package body. The label flap includes a main body portion having a first adhesive applied to its bottom face surface. The first adhesive is a removable adhesive that allows the label flap to be repeatedly removed and reapplied to the package body. The label flap further includes a starting tab that does not adhere to the top surface of the package body. A tamper indicating tab is formed as part of the starting tab and includes the first adhesive applied to its bottom face surface. The tamper indicating tab is defined by a series of perforations such that when the label flap is initially removed from the product package, the tamper indicating tab separates from the starting tab along the perforations to indicate that the product package has been opened.

  • Patent number: 6428867
Abstract: A resealable label flap for use with a product package including a tamper indicating tab that remains in contact with the package body to indicate that the label flap has been removed from the package body. The tamper indicating tab includes a first ink layer that defines an indicia or pattern on the top surface of the tamper indicating tab. A second ink layer is applied over the entire top surface of the tamper indicating tab, including over the first ink layer. The second ink layer does not bond to the first ink layer. When the label flap is initially pulled from the product package, the tamper indicating tab separates from the remaining portions of the label flap. As the tamper indicating tab separates from the label flap, the first ink layer and the second ink layer separate from each other such that the portions of the second ink layer applied over the first ink layer remain in contact with the top layer of the label flap.

  • Patent number: 6420006
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a label assembly including a plurality of individual label flaps each including a separate coupon includes the steps of imprinting a coupon graphic on a first release liner and printing a label graphic on a continuous strip of label material. The coupon shape is die-cut into the first release liner in a position aligned with the label flap to be subsequently formed. Once the coupon has been die-cut from the first release liner, the first release liner is separated from the label material. As the first release liner separates from the label material, the die-cut coupon remains in contact with the pressure-sensitive adhesive formed on the back surface of the label material. A second release liner is brought into contact with the continuous strip of label material including the coupons.

  • Patent number: 6207227
Abstract: A cleaning sheet with a tacky surface coating is used to clean feed rollers in copying machines or similar equipment and similarly-coated cloths are used for the removal of particles from other surfaces to be cleaned. The cleaning articles are made by printing the tacky material on sheet material such as paper or cloth. Relatively thick layers of tacky material are applied quickly and economically by the use of a multi-stage printing press which builds up a thick layer from a plurality of thin layers.

  • Patent number: 6113271
Abstract: A resealable label flap including a label stop that bonds with a product package to prevent removal of the label flap from the product package. The label flap includes a base layer having a first adhesive applied to its bottom face surface. The first adhesive is a removable adhesive that allows the label flap to be repeatedly pealed and reapplied to the package body. The label flap further includes a top layer applied to the top face surface of the base layer. A portion of the top layer extends past the base layer to form a label stop for the label flap. The label stop of the label flap includes a second adhesive that permanently bonds with the package body to prevent the complete removal of the label flap from the package body.
