  • Patent number: 11951322
Abstract: Accessories of a medical device, such as a defibrillator, are described. The accessories reduce delays in treating or monitoring a patient by increasing the efficiency of using, and the ease of use of, the medical device. An adjustable kickstand is movable between a collapsed and extended position to recline the medical device. In the reclined position, a display of the medical device can be more easily viewed by the user. Storage bags can be coupled to the medical device to efficiently store accessories for use with the medical device. The stored accessories can be coupled to the medical device while the accessories are stored within the storage bags. A port guard can protect and shield a connection between a cable and a port of the medical device to prevent the cable (e.g., an ECG cable) from being disconnected from the port of the medical device.

  • Publication number: 20170336311
Abstract: A measurement apparatus and method for determining a viscosity of a fluid are disclosed. A predetermined pre-fill portion of a sample of the fluid is injected into a capillary at a predetermined flow rate. The pressure differential across the capillary is determined, and the measurement is aborted when the measured pressure is greater than a predetermined maximum pressure. When the measured pressure is less than the predetermined maximum pressure, the remaining portion of the sample is injected into through the capillary. The viscosity of the sample is calculated based on a pressure within the capillary during the injection of the remaining portion of the sample.

  • Publication number: 20170091769
Abstract: A device for facilitating identification of a fraudulent payment card, comprising: an input module for obtaining data encoded on a suspected fraudulent payment card; a volatile memory module for temporary storage of the obtained data; and a display module for rendering the obtained data on a display screen, wherein the obtained data that is stored in the volatile memory module is cleared after completion of an event.

  • Patent number: 6630838
Abstract: A method for dynamically burn-in testing a PLD by either configuring or fabricating the PLD to implement a self-executing logic operation that automatically and repeatedly turns on and off selected transistors of the PLD using only static test signals. The self-executing logic operation implemented by the PLD includes a driving logic function (e.g., an oscillator) and a driven logic function (e.g., a counter). The PLD is placed on a conventional load board and heated in a conventional oven while static test signals are applied to selected terminals of the PLD through the load board, thereby causing the PLD to implement the self-executing logic operation.

  • Patent number: 6363019
Abstract: A programmable logic device (PLD) including a non-volatile memory array for persistently storing configuration data, and a volatile memory array for temporarily storing the configuration data and controlling the various logic resources of the PLD to perform a user's logic operation. When the PLD is reset, an addressing circuit causes a column of non-volatile memory cells to transmit configuration data values to a corresponding column of volatile memory cells on a series of write lines. To verify that a configuration data value is successfully written from each non-volatile memory cell to a corresponding volatile memory cell, the data value transmitted on each write line is compared with the stored data value transmitted from each volatile memory cell on a corresponding read line.
