  • Publication number: 20110203156
Abstract: One embodiment of a strike indicator may be constructed of a buoyant member having a curved outer surface, a central axis and a slot extending from the outer surface to the central axis. This slot is used to hold the fishing line. A securing member is removably coupled to the outer surface of the buoyant member. The securing member has a protrusion that can be positioned within the slot such that the line does not slide within the slot when casting the line.

  • Patent number: 7360334
Abstract: A fishing net system comprises a handle having a top and a bottom. A loop extends from the bottom of the handle, and a mesh is attached to the loop. A connector system is operably coupled to the fishing net at a location spaced apart from the top of the handle. The connector system is configured to removably couple the fishing net to a user's back. A method is also provided for attaching a landing net to the back panel of a fishing garment, which includes the steps of removably coupling the handle of the landing net to the top section of the garment; and removably coupling the landing net to the middle section of the garment.

  • Patent number: 6974320
Abstract: A tooth reduction measuring system comprises a holding tool having a proximal end and a distal end. A flexible loop extends from the distal end and defines an opening. The loop has a thickness from the range about 1 mm to about 2 mm, and the opening a size large enough to be placed around a tooth. The loop is adapted to be positioned relative to a pair of opposing teeth, one of which has been reduced. In this way, the pair of opposing teeth are within the opening, and the loop may be pulled by the shaft into a gap between the opposing teeth to permit evaluation of the size of the gap based on the thickness of the loop.
