  • Publication number: 20230397281
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing synchronization of protocol data unit (PDU) sessions between a user equipment (UE) and a network are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a determination of whether a message comprising a PDU session status information element (IE) should be sent is based on previous messaging between peer entities of the network. In some embodiments, a determination that the peer entity is informed of a relevant PDU session status is made after expected reply messaging is received in response to prior messaging. In some cases, a reply message without a PDU session status IE is sent from one entity to a peer entity when it is determined that each entity has a matching PDU session status. Cases involving failures detected at the network, and cases where an entity activates a data radio bearer (DRB) of a PDU session that is inactive at its peer are also discussed.

  • Patent number: 11233870
Abstract: A call control entity (“entity”) communicates with Internet Protocol (IP) phones. Upon receiving from an IP phone a headset connect message indicating that a headset is connected to the IP phone and including a headset identifier of the headset, the entity determines whether there is stored in a call control database a mapping between the headset identifier and a user identifier associated with a user, the mapping configured to provide access to an existing IP phone configuration profile in the call control database. If the mapping exist, the entity completes an extension mobility auto login of the user through the IP phone, which results in acquiring the user identifier from the IP phone. Responsive to completing the extension mobility auto login, the entity accesses the existing IP phone configuration profile based on the user identifier and the mapping, and configures the IP phone with the existing IP phone configuration profile.

  • Publication number: 20210303737
Abstract: Methods implemented on computing devices provide protections for sensitive information by outputting audio descriptions of sensitive information via a personal audio output device coupled to the computing device so that the description can be heard only by the user rather than displaying the information. Further protections for sensitive information may include displaying an input keypad on a touch-sensitive display in which key images do not include a visual indication of the character or value associated with each key, and outputting an audio description of the character or value associated with a user-selected key of the keys on the data input keypad via the personal audio output device so that the key description can be heard only by the user.

  • Patent number: 11128532
Abstract: A call control entity communicates with Internet Protocol (IP) phones over a network. Responsive to a request from a new IP phone that is to replace an existing IP phone, the call control entity determines there is no existing IP phone record for the new IP phone. In response, the call control entity acquires from the new IP phone a directory number associated that is to be used when making calls with the new IP phone, and searches for an existing IP phone record for the existing IP phone based on the directory number. When the existing IP phone record is found, the call control entity creates for the new IP phone a new IP phone record associated with the directory number, copies existing configuration information from the existing IP phone record to the new IP phone record, and configures the new IP phone with the existing configuration information.

  • Publication number: 20210112694
Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a novel, morphologically and genetically distinct clone of vetiver [Vetiveria zizaniodes (L.) Nash. syn. Chrysopogon zizanioides (L.) Roberty; family Poacaeae] named ‘CIMAP-FORAGIKA’ that offers an ideal plant type to realize the twin applications of Vetiver i.e. mitigation of soil erosion and landslides, as well as, a prospective forage in eco-plantations and cropping systems. This clone sports—(i) deep penetrating tufted roots coupled with profuse lateral secondary and tertiary roots that form an interwoven web of roots facilitating enhanced soil binding in landslide and erosion prone sites; and (ii) profuse shoot tillers bearing thinner leaves that have reduced (less) lignified tissue enabling leaf softness and palatability. The leaves of this clone are rich in protein (41 g/kg fresh weight) and crude fiber content (25 g/kg dry weight) but low in carbohydrates (31 g/kg dry weight), thus providing desirable digestibility and nutritional features.

  • Patent number: 10844436
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods of prognosing, treating, or managing treatment of cancer in a subject. These methods involve selecting a subject having cancer, obtaining, from the selected subject, a sample containing exosomes, recovering the exosomes from the sample, and isolating the double-stranded DNA from within the exosomes. The isolated double-stranded DNA is then used to detect the presence or absence of one or more genetic mutations associated with cancer, quantify the amount of isolated double-stranded DNA from the recovered exosomes in the sample, detect the methylation status of the isolated double-stranded DNA, or quantify the amount isolated double-stranded DNA able to enter a recipient cell. The prognosing, treating, or managing treatment is carried out based on this information.

  • Publication number: 20110233126
Abstract: A reverse osmosis pressure vessel end cap assembly includes a seal plate positioned within a pressure vessel shell, with one or more load plates positioned to retain the seal plate in position. A load ring is captured or expanded by the load plates to secure the load ring into a channel in the interior surface of the pressure vessel shell. The end cap assembly thus provides secure yet easily removable access to the pressure vessel, capable of withstanding the high pressures of a reverse osmosis filtration system. Various exemplary embodiments of the assembly are provided.
