  • Patent number: 9990802
Abstract: A gaming device having multiple interacting independently operated symbol generators, such as wheels. In one embodiment, each wheel includes a plurality of sections that are associated with a plurality of different outcomes which are displayed to a player. One or more of the wheels are activated, either sequentially or simultaneously and the results of the wheel activations influence one or more subsequent wheel activations. Upon a terminating event, an outcome based on the results from one or more spins of one or more of the wheels is provided to the player.

  • Patent number: 8562429
Abstract: A gaming device having unisymbol display reels, wherein each symbol on a display of the gaming device represents or is included on a different reel. The present invention structures the paylines of the gaming device in such a way that the gaming device can include different reel strips having different winning symbols or different proportions of winning symbols, while still maintaining payout symbols and payout combinations that have uniform odds and uniform payouts.

  • Patent number: 7967676
Abstract: A gaming device having an award generator and a plurality of tracking meters. In one embodiment, each tracking meter is associated with one of a plurality of indicators. The gaming device increments at least one of the plurality of tracking meters based on one or more events which occur in association with a play of a game. The gaming device then determines if at least one of the tracking meters has been incremented a predetermined number of times. If at least one of the tracking meters has been incremented the predetermined number of times, the gaming device activates the award generator, indicates a plurality of the sections of the award generator with a plurality of indicators, determines the award indicated by the indicator associated with the tracking meter which has been incremented the predetermined number of times, and provides the determined award to a player.

  • Patent number: 7914373
Abstract: A gaming device including a game having a plurality of selections. The player sequentially picks masked selections. The picked selections each yield a number or a terminator. If a number is revealed, the number is placed in a position or digit of an outcome or award. If the position is already occupied by another number, that other number is shifted, moved or slid to a new position. In one embodiment, the other number is shifted, moved or slid to the next highest order digit, for example, from the one's digit to the ten's digit. In this way, the player's outcome or award changes after each pick of a selection. If a number is in a last position, it is shifted off or removed from the positions. Eventually, the player picks a terminator and is provided an award that is based on the numbers in the positions, for example, the overall number made up of the constituent numbers and their associated digits.

  • Patent number: 7905772
Abstract: A gaming device having an improved award-providing bonus scheme wherein the player may improve their award during different rounds of the bonus scheme. The gaming device enables the player to select an award from a plurality of awards. The gaming device enables the player to modify the selected award, creating a subsequent or modified award, and carry over residual award improvements from one round to a different round of the bonus game, with the idea of increasing the award to receive a greater or higher award during the bonus game.

  • Patent number: 7874913
Abstract: A gaming device with a primary game scheme including one or more symbol generators and a plurality of wheels where each wheel is associated with a different one of the symbol generators. When one or more of the symbol generators generates at least one predetermined symbol, the gaming device activates or spins the wheel associated with that symbol generator. The gaming device provides any awards associated with the activated wheels to a player.

  • Patent number: 7824262
Abstract: A gaming device including a primary game having one or more symbol generators and one or more secondary games associated with the symbol generators. The gaming device activates the symbol generators for a number of activations. When the symbol generator generates one or more predetermined symbols, the gaming device operates one or more of the secondary games associated with the symbol generators. In one embodiment, the gaming device continues to activate the symbol generators until at least one of the symbol generators generates one or more termination symbols, or until there are no activations remaining in the primary game.

  • Patent number: 7803044
Abstract: A gaming device having a bonus scheme wherein the success or failure of a current selection directly affects the player's chances for success in a later selection. The probabilities of success are related to the number of previous successful attempts by the player.

  • Patent number: 7794316
Abstract: A gaming device which provides a plurality of multi-component offers to a player and displays each offer to the player. Each multi-component offer includes a plurality of components having sub-components. The player can independently accept each component. Once a player accepts a component, the player receives a value based on the sub-components associated with that accepted component. The player continues to play the bonus game until the player has accepted all of the components in the offers or until there are no offers remaining. The gaming device then provides an award to the player based on the values of the accepted components of the offers.

  • Patent number: 7785185
Abstract: A wagering game including a wheel and multiple section indicators. The wheel includes a plurality of sections having awards associated with each of the sections. The section indicators associated with the wheel simultaneously indicate sections on the wheel. The awards associated with the sections indicated by the activated section indicators are summed and provided to a player. The number of activated section indicators is predetermined, randomly determined, determined by the player's wager in the primary or base game, determined in a primary game or determined by a sub-game or a set.
