    Abstract: Provided is a resonator. The resonator includes: at least one air cavity and a plurality of air passages communicating with the air cavity. The air cavity and the plurality of air passages are tuned to generate one or more acoustic resonances. Therefore, the desired low acoustic damping can be reasonably well maintained, while distributing higher modes over a wider set of frequencies, while also making each of them proportionally weaker. Thus, they may be more easily made weak enough not to interfere with the desired behaviour of the overall acoustic resonator construction.

The speaker includes: a speaker case; a speaker body arranged in the speaker case and configured to vibrate and produce sound, the speaker body dividing the speaker case into a front sound cavity and a rear sound cavity, the speaker case being provided with a speaker hole, and the front sound cavity communicating with outside of the speaker case through the speaker hole; and a resonator arranged at the speaker case, a side of the resonator being arranged corresponding to the front sound cavity, and another side of the resonator being exposed to outside of the speaker case. By coupling the resonator in the front sound cavity of the speaker, the high frequency reproduction of the speaker is improved and the intermodulation distortion of the speaker is reduced, thereby improving the sound quality of the speaker in the electronic device.

    Abstract: Provided is a speaker box, which includes a first damping member fixed to the housing and covering the sound outlet, and a second damping member fixed in the receiving space and fixed to the housing. The second damping member, the base and/or the cover define an extension cavity in communication with the front acoustic cavity. When the speaker produces sound, the extension cavity stabilizes frequency response variation caused by variation in the dynamic height of the air space. When the diaphragm of the speaker is at the lowest and highest positions of the air space, the variation in the final acoustic frequency response of the speaker box is always small, and the final acoustic frequency response of the speaker is also small. Thus, the intermodulation distortion of speakers in mobile devices or other thin devices can be reduced, and a sound quality of the speaker box can be improved.
