Abstract: Jointing clamp (1) intended for electrical conductors and comprising an insulating, conical outer housing (2) having arranged therein a similarly conical inner sleeve (3). The narrow end of the outer sleeve (2) has located internally therein a seat (7) against which a metal ball (6) is locked by the inner sleeve (3) in a manner to fully close the narrow end of the inner sleeve. The outer sleeve (2) is extended with a tubular part (9) which surrounds a through-passing hole (10) in the seat (7) and thus forms a protective tubular device through which access can be had to the metal ball (6) with the aid of a test probe but which will prevent unintentional finger contacts with the ball. This enables electrical measurements to be made safely at joint locations without the need to remove the jointing clamps therefrom.

Abstract: Apparatus for the fire-sealing of a lead-through for at least one cable through a building framework comprising an inner pipe filled with precompressed elastic fire-resistant foam material and an outer pipe surrounding the inner pipe. The apparatus is mounted in a hole in the framework and the two pipes are connected to respective outer walls of the framework. Between the pipes there is a gap admitting relative movement of the pipes. The gap is sealed by the foam material filling the inner pipe and a portion of which extends into the outer pipe and presses against its inner surface.

Abstract: A method and tool for sealingly inserting an elastic body in a cavity in a wall in which the cavity has a smaller size than the initial size of the body. A first tubular end portion of the tool is inserted into the cavity and an elastic body is accommodated in a second larger tubular end portion of the tool such that the elastic body rests on a tapered portion which joins the tubular end portions. The second tubular end portion is then closed and pressure fluid is supplied into the second tubular end portion to compress the elastic body and cause it to pass from the second tubular portion into the first tubular portion and then to exit from the first tubular portion into the cavity. The elastic body expands as it exits from the first tubular portion to tightly engage the wall around the cavity and to expel the first tubular end portion from the cavity.

Abstract: A lubricant unit intended for application between the contact surfaces of two bodies for reducing friction between the bodies during displacement of the bodies relative each other especially in the case where one or both of the bodies comprises a porous material. The lubricant unit in its unapplied condition comprises at least one film with mutually opposed film surfaces and a lubricant deposited between these surfaces. After placing the unit between the bodies whose friction is to be reduced, the contact surface of at least one body is covered by film, whereby the necessary force for overcoming friction between the bodies will depend solely on the friction between a film surface coated with lubricant and a contact surface, or on the friction between two lubricant-coated film surfaces.

Abstract: A terminal box intended to be used in combination with a socket outlet or the like of outside the wall type in such a way that the terminal box is arranged between the socket outlet and the wall supports the socket outlet.
