  • Publication number: 20150308731
Abstract: A heat exchanger for cooling systems, air conditioning systems, or the like, which is equipped with a de-icing function. For de-icing, the conduits of the heat exchanger are heated and defrosted by an electrical current flow. The drainage of the condensed water is supported by openings in the wings of the wing tubes used.

  • Publication number: 20150053379
Abstract: Heat exchanger 1 for removing heat from a medium with at least one serpentine-shaped wing tube 20 arranged in a housing, the linear wing section 30 of which is arranged such that the wing 24 of the wing section 30 encloses an angle in the range of 10°???30° with a flow direction S.

  • Publication number: 20070215333
Abstract: A heat exchanger (301, 501, 601) comprising a first tube (107, 507, 607) for fluid transmission and a second tube (108, 508, 608) for fluid transmission within a heat transfer system that uses a working fluid which undergoes compression and evaporation. The first tube is placed in thermal contact with the second tube for a portion (109,110) of the respective lengths of the first tube and the second tube so as to allow an exchange of heat between the fluid within said tubes. The first tube (107, 507, 607) is constructed from steel alloy which has alloyed components to reduce the hardness of the steel to facilitate tube bending within a heat transfer system, thereby allowing the first tube to be constructed from the steel within the heat transfer system, in preference to copper.

  • Publication number: 20070017663
Abstract: A heat exchanger cooling fin (401), for use in a fluid flow environment, comprising a fin plate (402) having a series of substantially mutually parallel louvres (403), each louvre (403) having a convex curved surface (404) facing in the opposite direction to each adjacent louvre (403), said series of louvres defining a nominal fluid flow path along the series over said convex curved surface (404) of each louvre (403).
