The first and second members move, such as rotationally or pivotably move, relative to each other to control relative longitudinal movement of the outer and inner elongate members.

Abstract: A multiprocessor device includes cores and at least one ingress-write ordering circuitry (IWOC) including first and second counters associated with first and second destinations. The IWOC is configured to assign sequential numbers to write transactions received from a source, according to an order of reception at the IWOC, and to forward the write transactions from the IWOC to the first and second write-transaction destinations, while preserving the order, by incrementing the first and second counters such that both the first counter and the second counter track a sequential number of a next write transaction that the IWOC will forward, forwarding a first write transaction to the first destination only provided that the sequential number of the first write transaction matches the first counter, and forwarding a second write transaction to the second destination only provided that the sequential number of the second write transaction matches the second counter.

Abstract: In general, in one aspect, the disclosure describes an apparatus for engineering di/dt. The apparatus includes a plurality of functional blocks to perform different functions. The apparatus also includes a clock source to provide a clock signal to said plurality of functional blocks. At least one gating device is used to regulate application of the clock to the plurality of functional blocks. A controller is included to control the at least one gating device and turning-on of the clock signal.

Abstract: A flicker filter is adjusted according to degree of alpha blending performed on a display signal. For some weakly showing graphics images, a lower flicker filter level may be implemented or the flicker filter may be turned off. A threshold for turning off the flicker filter may be programmable. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A pixel clock frequency is adjusted in response to periodically monitoring the relative positions between a video signal to be displayed and a video signal captured. Image shear of the display signal may be avoided quickly. Adjustments are made to the color burst signal where dramatic changes in the pixel clock frequency result.
